The freezing temperature bites at the bare skin in my face. There's nothing around but snow. There's not even a tree nor a frozen pond anywhere in sight. Just snow. As far as the eye can see this cold, white fluffy substance is greeting me. Now extremely thankful for the snow ware I have dressed myself into. The boots are cozy and warm. I stand with my back against the base of a mountain. The one I've just emerged from. In the East stands a rather high snow peak, so I decided to move into the opposite direction. Seeing how it's a straight walk. I don't really understand why people gets so excited about snow. Firstly, it isn't half as easy to walk around in it, as it puts a brake on your pace.
