We rounded the next corner. Max froze. A little way down stood halve a dozen of dogs. Massively huge dogs! No. Wolves. They seem to be guarding a door. Could that be our ticket out of here? Did Lucifer mimicked, Stephen King's rabid dog theory? Did he actually add a few Cujo's to his labyrinth? That's absolutely absurd! That once lovable poochy won't have Max frozen up like this. They snarled at us. Their open snouts covered in corn yellow fangs. Eyes, golden amber. Furs that of autumn leafs, except one- larger than the rest. His coat is painted in shades of black and gray. He's ferocious! Slowly they inched closer. What am I to tell Max to make him snap out of his trance? If he doesn't unfroze any time soon we'll both die. I gave the gang across from us another once over, when it hit me.
