“We’re here,” Andreas announced as he parked the car.
“Where are we?”
Kelly looked around, finding nothing but fancy shops all around.
“You’ll see,” he told her before stepping out of the car.
She followed him outside and then into what appeared to be the most luxurious shop. She didn’t understand at first, but then she realized that maybe her surprise included shopping as a first step.
And she was right.
She tried on various elegant dresses, all of which Andreas approved of with a curt nod, until she put on a long royal blue dress, and he clapped his hands twice.
“Gorgeous,” he told her. Then, to the shopping assistant, “we’ll take this one.”
