The restaurant was the most luxurious Kelly had ever been into. Its design was a simple but elegant black and white and all its occupants were dressed up. The atmosphere was serene, the lights slightly dimmed, and a soft classical music played in the background. It was like one of those restaurants she’d seen on TV, the ones only the crème de la crème go to. Kelly began to panic. What if she messed up? Her heart pounded at the thought while she walked by Andreas, following the manager to their booked table. As if he sensed her turmoil, Andreas squeezed her hand ever so slightly in reassurance. “You’re tense,” he told her softly. “I’m not used to this,” she admitted, red tinting her cheeks.
