12. Purification of soul and mind.

The next morning everyone got ready early, Nobody wanted to make even a tiny mistake, Because a lot depended on it. All were preparing themselves to the fullest so that there will be no lapse in the time of need.

Dr Star was working on his healing skills to use it effectively on Akira, as first he needs to clear her past memories from her conscious as well as unconscious state. Which was very dangerous to perform, If there is a slight lapse in using his power, that may repercussions in Loss in eyesight or worst paralysis or coma. That he can't afford.

Saint Augustus was concentrating on his each skill which may help him in performing the art of soul purification. He didn't want to miscalculate anything. He was worried, scared and anxious as he didn't know how to react in such a crucial situation. There is a similar danger in both doing or not doing anything for her. He is well aware that this is many times harder than he thought. And he deliberately did not tell anyone because he did not want to frighten anyone. And he knew that the demonic powers of the black crystal were not going to leave her soul easily. It will lure, manipulate, and provoke her, So that she does not heal as before, And somehow she accepts the black powers. He can only pray to God now to support them in all these.

Mrs Myron is still sitting near Akira's and caressing her hairs. She was feeling anxious and perturbed. Because she didn't know what would happen today, She had faith in God that he would make everything right for her daughter. "Don’t worry my little angle you will be fine soon. Me and your dad both are with you. Just promise me that you will try your best to fight back. I Love you, Get well soon then we will do all your favourite things together” She whispered lovingly in her daughter’s ear, and Kissed her forehead.

In the backyard, Mr Myron was preparing for ceremony of purification. He made a large circle of wood that could be lit during the ceremony. Between he made scant pit so that light water could stay on the ground too. He was praying to god to support them, And to keep the weather clear.

It was mid-afternoon when Sheriff Joe received a call from one of his colleague. He told that the woman he had been looking for since night, She lives alone in a farm house in South Oea area. It was a good thing because his farm house was also located in South. So it was easy for him to locate the woman's house. He immediately left with the car.

Sir Nicolsan was extremely tensed, and he was meditating to calm himself. He told about the method of purification to everyone, But he did not say what happened to the person on whom this method was used. He just wanted to save Akira, but he didn't know if this thing would affect her or not. Sir Nicolsan had clearly seen the effects of the ceremony and whole method on the person it was performed, His skin was burnt due to the use of powers and he was paralyzed for the life time.

Everybody was upset because of some reason. But everyone wanted one thing in common and that was to save Akira from evil power of the black crystal. She was a good girl, But if the black powers claim her, then perhaps no one can help her. The black mark on leg was spreading slowly. Which was not a good sign.

After two hours, Sheriff Joe finally finds out the woman's house which was located in a very quiet place near the old yew tree in between the wheat fields. Someone opened the door before the doorbell rang. Sheriff Joe was stunned as the woman was in her mid 30 with long black hairs and fair complexion. That woman already knew sheriff's name and also why he came there at her door step.

“Don’t be afraid, I was waiting for you Sheriff Joe. My name is Lisa Ankaara.” The woman said with soft voice.

“But how did you know who I am, and I am going to come here.” Sheriff asked in alarmed tone, his eyes went wide open with shock.

“ My grandmother Siren Ankaara knew Artino's well, she not only had shielding and crafting power and skills. She could also see the future, And she knew that one day Saint Augustus and Sir Nicolsan would need her. So she made seven amulets, One of which is specifically for Akira, it will help to conceal black power inside that amulet. And then you have to put that amulet somewhere safe. And the rest of the amulet will disappear itself.” She explained him serenely with a faint smile on her face, She knew how nervous Sheriff Joe was.

Sheriff Joe stared at her in confusion, and said to her“ I think you should come with me.”

“No i can't come with you, Let it be as it is. Everything is already decided. My daughter will support Akira till her death when the right time will come.” She said stubbornly with determination, making him more puzzled and edgy.

Sheriff Joe couldn't utter anything, he was freezed at the place where he was sitting, Everything that was happening right now was alien to him. He was zoned out trying to understand what she just convey to him.

“ I don’t understand anything............” he let out long deep sigh trying to catch up his senses properly.

“Nothing just take these amulets and go fast, time is slipping faster than one can even imagine.” She said in hastiness and handover the box of amulet to Sheriff Joe.

"But how will we know which amulet is for Akira?" Sheriff Joe asked in blabbering tone, And he stepped out carefully, trying not to slumped on ground.

“You will know it..... Amulet will indicate by itself......” She said waving her hand in good-bye.

Sheriff Joe headed back to farm house. As soon as he arrived inside the house, After seeing his pale face Saint Augustus understood that something has happened.

“Did something happen ...??? Did you get amulets or not ....... ?????” Saint Augustus and Sir Nicolsan asked in acute tone.

“ Some wired happened with me.....” Sheriff Joe said in dazed state with shrugged face, than he told everything about Serin and Lisa Ankaara in detail.

They all were bewildered after knowing what Lisa Ankaara said to Joe. But now it was certain that whatever they are doing is absolutely right. And they have to deal with all this soon, as Lisa said they don’t have much time left to accomplish the soul purification.

It was evening five o’clock, When Mrs Myron drenched Akira with water, And Mr Myron picked her up in his arms and brought her to the backyard. Then he lay her down in the scant pit filled with water in the centre of circle.

Everyone was ready, Akira was breathing steadily, lying comfortably on the ground. Sir Nicolsan gave one transparent diamond shaped amulet to each of them, And he kept slightly blue diamond shaped amulet near her heart. That amulets started glistening as soon as it touched Akira. Then Mr Myron set fire to the circle made of woods.

This was the right time to start the process of purification, Mrs Myron was talking about her favourite things with unconscious Akira, At the same time, Dr Star extended his right hand straight towards Akira's head, He started concentrating on his power and started erasing all past memories from Akira’s conscious and unconscious mind state. When he was doing this, his hand was radiating with white light. And the effect of all this made Akira scream loudly. Her body starts shaking and at the same time wind starts blowing with gushing sound. Seeing Akira like this, Mrs Myron get scared, But to calm Akira down, she started singing her favourite melody. And that worked on her.

It took twenty minutes to erase her memories of the entire six years. As soon as one phase was completed Dr Star started second phase of healing. Indicating Saint Augustus to start using his powers. Dr star didn't know how long it would take, So he again started concentrating, both hands in the direction of Akira, radiating with faint light. Saint Augustus started with spells to strengthen the third phase, Where he created a shield so that Akira could not take anyone's power. In fourth phase he started detecting the black power by sensing the vibes and aura of her body. For that he put his hands in the air and started shaking them in left to right horizontal motion, his hands start illuminating minor red colour light. It was a good thing that evil powers of black crystal did not reach to her heart. For fifth phase he indicate everyone to be careful, he start restoring her soul. The started making small tiny circles with both of his hand in the direction of her lower body. And her body started shaking violently, and she started breathing heavily. Then the fire took a terrible form, Mr and Mrs Myron runs toward Akira to check on her, But Sir Nicolsan Signalled them to stay still at there respective place. As time was passing, Akira's condition worsened. She started turning red and with her sky changing its colour from blue to bright burning red. It seemed like the flame was blazing from the sky. It was difficult to stand there, At the same time lighting started striking on the ground.

Saint Augustus and Dr Star even then, they keep on performing purification. It was an hour and both were exhausted. Now it was the turn to perform final phase of purification, Controlling and concealing the evil power in the diamond crystal amulet. As soon as they started doing this, Akira's body started floating a little above ground. She started screaming in heavy painful voice. Everyone was feeling her pain, But at the moment nobody could do anything for her. Sir Nicolsan knew that this process was painful, But it would be painful to such an extent that he did not even think in his dreams.

Mrs Myron was crying uncontrollably in agony. Saint Augustus and Dr Star start jerking due to intense pain and extreme heat, they were able to resist and control her powers only because of amulet. After a while, Akira's body started hovering in the air, and light beam of light radiating from her body. Akira’s crystal amulet fall on the ground, one bizarre light sphere which formed around Akira's body, It blowout loudly with strong unusual light and energy. Because of which all the people flew away with the gust of energy and collapsed on the ground with loud thud.

Akira's body also crumpled on the ground, sky turns back to its normal colour. The weather has suddenly turned magnificent and mesmerising. As if God himself came down to earth. Everyone got hurt because of the heavy fall. But after seeing the atmosphere, everyone got surprised and excited.

The circle's fire was extinguished by itself, Mrs Myron and Mr Myron ran towards Akira. They saw her bruised body on the ground, And they picked her up from the ground. Sheriff Joe and Sir Nicolsan helped Saint Augustus and Dr Star. Both of them were also injured like Akira. By seeing their face, it was clear that they did not have any strength left to walk by their own. The purification of the soul took more than an hour. And everyone was tired, They sat on the ground for a while. There was a faint smile on everyone's face.

Mr and Mrs Myron lay Akira in her bed. And then they went to the backyard, Everyone was so lost in the moment that nobody noticed that everyone's amulet has disappeared. Just Akira's amulet was lying on the ground, And its colour changed to jade black same as black crystal.

“Nicolas carefully pick it up from there...” Saint Augustus said pointing finger towards the black crystal, Which is no longer amulet but a container to conceal of black powers.

Sir Nicolsan tried to touch it with bare hands, But it was flammable. As soon as he touched it, he felt a strange dark emptiness inside his heart. He drifted away in fear.
