5. Secret conference and Predicament.

The storm was not ready to stop, but it was a little quiet. From the last night event every guest was scared due to horrible lighting and Thunder, few of them were ready to leave as they don’t know anything about the other secret association meeting (Power Source Secret Association), even on papers it is mentioned as PSSA no one knows whether it exist in real or not.

Those who are members of it, They must have understood a lot by facing the effects of storm yesterday. Everyone had a lot of questions, but they unable muster up courage to demand for answers and decide to wait for tomorrow to know more about what precisely is going on.

King was on edge as it was hard to handle everything alone now. He kept the evening meeting early in the afternoon.

Roy was already in gathering camber to prepare for everything related to assembly. As his family was one of the keeper he knew exactly what was the need behind calling this meeting early, he was not only a butler to king but also like his shadow guard who always sever king to keep him safe.

He kept everything on round table with the file of recent assassinations. He was anxious as he hide an important but grave news from his Royal Highness.

The king will know in the assembly on his own. It was difficult for Roy to tell his king about the recent doing because if he could have told, then the king would probably have quit this urgent gathering and will left for OEA. And it is more important to stop these events and not to run away from it. Roy exactly knew that it will affect everything and He was ready to be punished for hiding it from his king.

King was already engulfed in sorrows and perhaps he might not be able to bear the loss of a good friend who once saved his life. And yet he could not do anything to save him.

Everyone member of gathered in camber, Augustus get to know about Artino’s from Roy he also knew the impact of the death of most loyal and ancient blood of Ellipso. And most important he knew his dear friend Thomas Artino was not someone easy to get murdered. He was not in his senses to understand why exactly he got such a painful death not even a single person is alive to carry forward the glory of that pure blood.

Augustus was all lost thinking about the reason of storm if his one of dear friend is dead, than who cause the storm and if it caused by him or he gave his power to someone else, So who is that person. Or this storm has come because of the person who killed them brutally, If this is the case then all this should have ended.

He was busy in staring at black space recalling his memories with his two true friends king ALBERT ATEN ELIADES and late THOMAS ARTINO.

*Flash back starts*

Albert and Augustus were transferred to new school to Fila when they both were twelve. They used to fight with each other and as they were new and different from others in school no one wants to talk or play with them. When few seniors try to bully them but Thomas was much more mature and was famous among others as well as boy with golden heart and he saved them from being bullied. And helped Albert and Augustus even though He knew nothing about both. Due to Thomas, both of them also became good friends. He was like cement in between them who kept the two together, Famous trio of their school.

Augustus was a close friend of the king. And for the first time, seeing him like this, the king could not keep up and put his hand on Augustus's shoulder with concern. He was about to ask him when Augustus said “We have to do something soon Albert, it’s enough now.” After joining him to his court for the first time, he addressed Albert by his first name like childhood days, But his voice was submerged in anger and grief.

King Albert was now more concerned And also upset because he did not know what happened all of sudden to his friend. But instead of asking, respecting his friend's words, he started the assembly.

“ We are gathered here to discuss about how to stop rising darkness to prevent Goodness, virtue, and truth in this world. The Master of Darkness is rebounding with his alliance and he is killing people like us who stop evil and serve God.” King Albert said in serious tone.

“Do we have evidence that this work belongs to him” one of the participant asked.

“Saint Augustus saw a vision about the rising of darkness and The way people are dying, It clearly shows whose work it is. All those people who helped to keep him imprisoned are being killed slowly by his shadow Slave. Many of us have died and you want evidence” King Albert said in stern voice following dry laughter which echoes in whole chamber.

The chamber was in deadly silence, no one dare to speak as kings roaring stern voice made them shiver in fear, after all, they all are in his area and land.

“Few of our keepers are also murder in the same manner and few others being chased to death, All these people have been killed with the sword and everyone of them had some special power, no common man can do this except Master Or his Slaves. ” Few participant said presenting the evidence and file in assembly.

“ We have to gather together in our respective areas to prefect any further attacks and to catch his slaves, So that we can be aware of who helped him and set him free. We need to fight back in the name of God for our supreme power source and good will of everyone.” king said in determined tone.

“ For Supreme Power, For God, For Good will of common people. We all swear that we will fight till our last breath” every one said in unison with determination and enthusiasm.

But one voice catches everyone’s attention towards him “ Why should I risk my and my people’s life for you, We are safe and nothing happened to us.” Sir EVAN ELVIS said with smirk.

“We entitled to guard Supreme Power Source and the rest of the Particle Source, If we lose them then our powers will not survive in this world. And most important thing is to protect people. We all know what will happen if we lose.” King said in harsh voice to Sir EVAN.

“ I don’t care about any of you or about common people. We will become a powerful after your defeat and there is no profit for me in helping you. I don't want to be enemy of the most power person” Evan said with evil laughter.

“ So it was right, You are the one who helping him against your own kind.” King Albert said in fury completely pissed of with EVAN, his face was red as he remembered in past when everyone fight against Master of darkness but he tries to help him to get what belongs to him. He was his uncle’s son but not kind like him. He was still wicked working for the person who killed so many of them. Albert’s dad former king forgives Evan for his wrong doing but He will not repeat the same mistake as his father’s.

“ How dare you to accuse me.” Evan said clinching his feast.

“I have every possible evidence. If i send soldiers to catch you at that time, You would possibly run away. I called you here in this gathering to arrest you in front of everyone, So that everyone knows what happens to those who cheat. You were the one who went to the master and told him all the things that Augustus saw. Because of you people have died, because of you he become stronger.” He said banging his feast on wooden conference table in anger, everyone was shocked after knowing new piece of information.

“ Rubbish, I haven't done anything” Evan said in worried tone.

“ Present the evidence and arrest him, throw him in darkest dungeon.” King said to Roy while looking at his cousin in disgust like if he is just a piece of crap.

Roy present photos of Evan, where he was stealing important information about Alliances, companions and keepers of king from the record room. And his conversation recording with two deceased court member, in which he called them on the day when they got murdered, and asked them to meet him near the river to discuss something important which concerns king life, And next morning kings soldiers found their dead bodies.

“I am your cousin you can’t do this to me brother, Remember what uncle had promised my father” Evan cried out loud when guards were dragging him out of his seat.

“Not anymore, you are dead for me. My father promised i didn't. Torture him till his last breath but don’t let him die Until he didn’t reveal everything from his filthy mouth.” King Albert said in dead tone.

“ You wanker!! You don’t deserve this crown, This land will be mine when my master will liberate me.” Evan shouted throughout his lungs.

And the guards dragged him like an animal before he could speak anything else. There was a thick cold air in the chamber everyone was aghast in fear. No one dared to stop king Albert or say anything in favour of Sir EVAN as everyone is suffering because of him and nobody knows what will happen next.

“Everything is sort out and who led to all the murders is also get caught. But we still need to stick on our plan And we have to be in touch in any condition.” King Albert said with serious tone not giving any room for argument.

When he was about to discuss murders, he was in deep grief with aching heart and pale face. The king's despondency at losing his close friend was immense. He was shocked and lost in his deep thoughts realising that he failed in something of great importance and because of his dereliction, He was not only responsible for his friends death but also his whole family. He recognised the two little figure one lying dead in bed and the other one on white floor both were covered in blood pool. His friend Thomas and Angel badly injured and covered in blood, Seeing their dead photo, it was clear that they fought till their last breath to save their children but they failed not only they, he as a friend as a king failed. He can’t even fulfil his duty towards his closest friend whom he still own his life. This is his only wish at this moment he wants his friend back and he won't anything happen again. He don’t even realise that his face was pale and eyes was blur with few stains of tear on his cheeks.

He wants to escape from this harsh reality. He wish, he didn't trust his cousin the after what he done long while ago, than maybe his friend who is more brother to him would be alive. He was lost as if his soul had left him alone, And now what in him is bones and flesh. He still remember how his friend saved his life, when he was nearly dead.

*Flash back starts*

Albert and Thomas were 15th, there was a war between darkness and light. He and his father sacrifice their power to get hold over Master of darkness and to imprison him for rest of his life where he belongs in deep darkness. He was weak and not an expert with sword. His father was battling with Masters slaves to drag them out of this prestigious land, when one of Slave attacked him and wounded him badly. He fell on ground lifeless covered in blood and when slave was ready to stabbed him to death. But his friend Thomas saved him by thrusting his sword deep into attackers back. He picked him up from the ground and took him to nearby cliff and He called Augustus using his powers by redirecting signals to Augustus mind directly. And Thomas as well as Augustus help him healing his wounds using both of their power together to save their friend.

*Flash back ends*

He was gasping for air holding his chair far more tighter as if he was trying to strangle the person who killed his friend. He was broken most of all he felt ashamed and guilty of himself that he could not save his friend, Who always stood by him. Saved him, He still remembers when they met six years ago with his family they seemed like small happy family and now all of them are dead this could be different only if he insisted his friend to stay here in castle with him. He offered him a position in his court but his stubborn friend refuse it as he wants to do his family business. Now he lost him for forever.

He roar out Roy’s name “Why didn't you inform me before. Two nights and one complete my brother was dead but you didn't think it necessary to tell me, Nobody felt necessary. Why....????” king Albert said in dead tone ready to kill, his eyes were burning red in anger same as flames in forest.

Roy was standing silently bowing his head. He already aware of punishment for hiding such an important information from his king.

King Albert was about to punish Roy when Augustus said “I told him to not to tell you about Thomas, Maybe you are angry like I was. But Thomas is dead, we could not save him and his family, but now it is our duty to bring him justice. If i told you earlier about him, would you have stayed here, would you have done all these things that a king should have done. It was necessary to stop all these things Albert.” Augustus tone was dull but calm, and his eyes were tired like a quiet autumn forest, But his words affected the king in right manner and saved poor Roy from punishment, after all he also understand that Roy is a keeper guard as well as butler who is loyal towards his duties.

Albert calms himself down a bit. And started discussing about the There was lots of things going on in his head, that he thought to keep it to himself. He can't trust all the people sitting here after what his own cousin did and who knows whether he acted alone or in someone else’s company. He has to choose certain people who cannot even think of betraying him. And for that he need to discuss his plan with Saint Augustus and Roy.

He stick to his main plan to ensure everyone’s safety. At this moment protection of there kind is his first priority rather than suffering and loosing someone again.

He concluded assembly soon and left the chamber.
