Kit's Virtual World Adventure

It's Monday morning, another day for this young man to waste. He's Kit Capilar a 19 years old who doesn't know what to do in life. He lost his father when he's still 2 months old and his mother decided to work abroad for extra income. He has a twin brother which we can say a complete "opposite" of him. His brother has lots of friends, joyful and a party goer.     Kit's POV I woke up late this morning because forgot it's Monday. Yeah right, the first day of the week and the only day we'll have a flag ceremony. I run walk from our house to go to our school. I forgot to vulcanize my bike yesterday and now I'll be late in school. I stop running when the pedestrian traffic lights turns to red.     "I'll be more late now", I sighed. I didn't realize there's a girl next to me if she didn't chuckles. I look at her and She looks at me which is kinda awkward.     "Did I said that out loud?", I ask without facing her. She chuckle again.     "Yes.", and answered. Her voice is beautiful like she is.     "You better go now while the traffic light is green. You don't wanna be late, right?" I snapped to reality and run across the pedestrian lane. I got on time before the school bell ring.     "I forgot to ask her name." My class starts and it's kinda boring. I don't really want to go to school. But, I don't want to waste my mom's hard work.     "Mr. Capilar, are you listening?" I take a glance at my professor and replied.     "Yes, Miss." The whole class was looking at me.     "He's so weird, right?"     "Daydreaming in the middle of the class?"     "Such a loser!" What a bunch of hypocrites. All our class ended, thankfully. I was walking in the hallway when Jc and his squad blocked my way.     "Where you think you're going loser?", Jc said while his whole squad was laughing. Here we go again.     "Stop playing around, I just wanna go home.", I calmly told him. He grabbed me by the collar.      " 'Stop playing around, I just wanna go home' my face. You'll go home when I told you too.", he said and then pushed me. His whole squad was laughing. I stand up and punched Jc in his face which made him mad and punched me back. I fell down and he grab my collar again.     "You think you can get away with that? You think you can be better than me? In your freaking dreams Kit." He pushed me again.     "Let's go, boys. We're done with this loser. For now.", he said and they started walking away. I don't really know what did I do and they keep bothering my life. I didn't do anything to Jc's squad or to him but he's extremely furious about my existence. I went home and saw my twin brother dressing up. He looks at me and ask.  "What happened to you?"  I look away.   "It's nothing. I fair got into a fight.", I replied.  "Affirm, anything. There's a few ice within the fridge in case you would like one." I went into the kitchen and get a few ice.  "Where are you going?", I inquire whereas putting a few ice within the ice bag. "It's Jhillians birthday today and you know, I ought to come." I fair nodded.   "I'll be homr at 11, I gotta go.", He said and left. I wish I have a social life like my twin brother. More like I wish I was him. I treat my wound and ate my supper. I right away rested, my vitality got depleted from the fight a whereas back. I woke up around 12 because i badly need to pee. My sleepiness left my body. I get a glance at my game room and decided to play games instead. I almost forgot I bought some new virtual reality game last week. Did I really get busy this past days? I get it out of the box and read some instructions.      "What's this game again?", I asked myself. Azrael. Released in 2045, the foremost celebrated DMMO-RPG. Due to it broad outline and unsually high player flexibility, making it violently prevalent around the world.   "As well numerous enlightening.", I sighed.  I put down the instruction paper and halt for a moment.  The VRG I bought is like a CD where you'll put it within the computer and interface the VRG head gear to the computer and play. So simple right? I begun putting the CD within the computer and associated the VRG head gear. I sat down on my gaming chair and put on the VRG head gear. I point out the begin button on the screen and the amusement begun. I'm a individual Ruler in this diversion and I like that. Lord Takeru, that's what they call me here. Takeru implies warrior or fierce in Japanese. I'm at the 9th floor of our castle, The Incredible Castle of Rhamnus where our circular table is located. "It's been a very long time, Takeru." It was Akiro. One of my best companion here in Azrael. "I didn't think that you'd come, Akiro. It's been 1 week since I'm offline, right?", I inquired. He act surprised.     "It's been that long?", he innocently asked.     "Yeah, how are you?"     "Kinda worn out from playing everyday.", he replied.     "You should take some rest, Akiro.", I told him. He chuckled.     "I'm sorry. I didn't come here to complain."     "Don't worry about it.", I replied.     "Oh I have to go soon. I'm way too sleepy. And the game will have some maintenance work later."     "Oh. Please rest well."     "I'm really sorry about it. But I'm really surprised that the Great Castle of Rhamnus is still here.", He said while looking around.     "You must have been maintaining it as the guild leader, Takeru.", He added.     "Well, Rhamnus was a base that we created together.", I replied.     "Takeru, thank you for your hard work. I hope we'll see each other again somewhere.", He said and send a smiley sticker.     [/Akiro has logged out] Everyone of my friends logged out already because 10 minuted from now the server will be under maintenance work. Why not stay until the maintenance start? I hope we'll see each other again somewhere, huh?      "You're gotta be kidding, right?!", I said to myself and slammed my hands on the table.     "This is The Great Castle of Rhamnus that we built together! How can he give it up so easily?! No one betrayed me.", I said and stand up. The guild weapon, sword of Takeru. We played recklessly to make this. But among the 30 members, 27 of them quit. And even the other two left me. I get the sword from where we put our weapons and go outside of the room. I went to my throne and sit there, waiting for the maintenance work to start.      "Ah, I remember I should wake up early tomorrow.I need to sleep as soon as the maintenance work starts", I exclaimed. The maintenance started and I go to rest without logging out or expelling the head gear. Suddenly, I wake up and felt strange. I tried typing on the keyboard screen but the keyboard's gone! Even the chats and commands are gone.      "What's wrong, Lord Takeru?" I was so shock when I realized who was speaking to me.     "Lord Takeru!" It was one of NPC's (non-player character), Sebastian, the head of all the guardians of the Great Castle of Rhamnus.     "Is their a problem, My Lord?"     "N-nothing. The keyboard's just ain't working.", I replied.     "Please forgive me. An ignorant one such as myself has no answer to this 'keyboard' you're talking about, My Lord", he replied. His mouth is moving!     "If you allow us your servants to correct this mistake, We will be forever grateful!", He added. I'm talking to an NPC!     "No, it's fine." The keyboard ain't working. I can't message or call anyone even the administrators. What should I do?! I look at everyone and saw the butler of the Rhamnus, Hiroto.     "Hiroto. Step out of the Castle and confirm the surroundings around the Rhamnus.", I command. He bow down and stood up.     "Understand, Lord Takeru."     "Aika. Go to the 5th floor and guard it from possible intruders."     "As you wish, My Lord." Hiroto and Aika then did what I commanded them to do. NPC's are recognizing orders that aren't specified in the commands? What's going on? I can't contact anyone, am I stuck in the game?     "Lord Takeru, what shall I do?" I snapped back when Sebastian asked.     "Can you come closer to me?", I asked.     "As you wish, My Lord." He come closer and I could smell him. Smell?! How can I even smell? There's no function like this in any virtual reality game. I grab his hand. He also have a pulse?! How can that even possible? His a NPC that only runs on an A.I. program. Why do he looks alive? Why he is alive? Conversing with NPCs, their natural expressions, their scent... These are all things that could never be programmed within a game until now.     "I have an order for you, Sebastian.", I commanded.     "I will do everything you wish.", He said and bow down.     "Except for the guardians of fifth and second floor, gather everyone to the fighting arena on the third floor. Have them gather there in an hour from now."     "Understood, My Lord." He then go out of the room. I then tried teleporting from the room to the fighting arena of the Castle. It works. It looks like the ring's teleportation function has no problems. Which means I can use items here.  Sebastian and the others are loyal to me just like their original settings. But, what about the other NPCs? I look around the arena. There's no one here. The twin dark elves that Tanaka set should be the guardians here... Out of nowhere, Maria the eldest twin should up happily. She run towards me and bow down.     "Welcome, Lord Takeru. Welcome to the floor which we guard!", She said gracefully.     "I will intrude for a short while."     "What are you saying?! You are the Lord of the Great Castle of Rhamnus! It's absolute ruler! There's no one that would ever consider you as an intruder!"     I sighed.     "By the way..", I said while looking around finding where is her twin brother.     "Mare! You're being rude to our Lord Takeru! Hurry up and get down here!", she said angrily.     "I-I can't, Sis...", he replied.     "Mare!", She shouted again.     "F-fine.", He said and get down. He run towards us while pulling down his skirt.     "Hurry up!"     "Y-yes!"     "I'm sorry for making you wait, Lord Takeru!", He said.     "I came today to have the two of you help me with something." They look at me full of amazement.     "I want to test my skills here."     "We will prepare immediately!", Maria said.     "Also I have called all the guardians here. They will gather here within the hour."     "Understand, My Lord.", She replied. We started the test. They put some scare crow in the middle of the arena. In Azrael, you just had to click the icon on the screen to use your weapon. But now, the icon doesn't exist. But, if I concentrate hard, I can feel the attack range of my sword.      "Horizontal Wave!", I shouted as I swing the my sword left to right and it created a single-hit that cut the scare crow in half. This is a good news. I know how to use a common sword skill. Maybe the other attacks is not a problem.     "A-amazing, Lord Takeru!", they both said. It's just a common attack. "Message.", I said out of nowhere. I just wanna know if I could reach someone out there. No one respond.     "I see, I really can't contact anyone here.", I told to myself.     "Yes, Lord Takeru?" I was a bit shocked for a moment. It was Hiroto. My message skill connected?     "Hiroto, how do things look on the outside of Rhamnus?"     "There's a bit problem, My Lord.", he replied.     "Okay. I have called all of the guardians to gather here at the Fighting Arena. Come here immediately and report what you saw.", I informed him.     "Understood." I then talk back to the twins.     "Lord Takeru, I thought you would be a scarier person.", Maria said.     "Hm? Really? I can be scarier if you'd like me to.", I said.     "How you are now is better! It's definitely the best!", she replied. Her brother nodded happily. I like how Tanaka designed these two. Maria and Mare looks are so deceiving. Maria looks like a boy and Mare looks like a girl. They also dressed up opposite to their genders. I really don't know what Tanaka was up to. Well, I don't know what's happening to this world at all, but it seems the NPCs are loyal to me. Then, I have to act like a proper superior in front of them. I also have to collect more information about what's happening outside Rhamnus. In Azrael, I have a max level. How strong am I here? Can I be much stronger? Can I even learn magic? And, If this is another world, Can I still go back to my old one? Should I return? I have no friends there. Just studying and coming home to sleep everyday, what worth is a life like that?  All of the guardians of Rhamnus gathered here. They were lead by Sebastian. They all bow down to me.     "Now everyone. To our supreme leader, the ritual of loyalty."     "The guardian of the seventh, eighth, and nineth floor, Klea. I bow before the supreme one.", She said and bow down.     "The guardian of the sixth floor, Hayabusa. I bow before the supreme one.", He said and bow down.     "The guardian of the third floor, Maria."     "A-also the guardian of the third floor, Mare."     "We bow before the supreme one.", they said in chorus and bow down.     "The guardian of the fourth floor, Dhalia. I bow before the supreme one." She said and bow down.     "The head of all the guardians, Sebastian.", He said and bow down.     "I bow before the supreme one.", He added.     "Other than the guardian of the first floor, Gargan, And the guardian of the second floor, Naname, all of the guardians have gathered to bow before you. Please give us your order, Our Lord. We offer our complete loyalty to you alone."     "You all did well to gather here when I called you. Thank you.", I said. They all look at me full of shock.     "We have all pleaded our loyalty to you, My Lord. We will all gather if you need us to. We vow to work hard and to live up to the expectations of the supreme beings who have created us. We vow this to you!", Sebastian replied. Do I need to show them my appreciation? I breath deeply and replied.     "Wonderful, guardians! I am confident that all of you will be able to fulfill your duties without fail!" They all smile gracefully.     "Well, then. Right now Rhamnus is caught up in an unknown situation. I already have Hiroto survey our surroundings." Hiroto suddenly appeared in front of me. He bow down to me.     "I could not confirm any building, human, or monster in a one kilometer radius, My Lord. But, I saw some grasslands not far away from Rhamnus.", He reported. The surroundings of Rhamnus don't have grasslands but swamps and some cemetery like surrounding.     "Good work, Hiroto."     "It seems like Rhamnus is teleported to some unknown land for some reason, My Lord.", He added.     "Guardian head, Sebastian and Defensive leader guardian, Dhalia. I command you to have a stronger information sharing system and max up the defense of Rhamnus!", I ordered them. They bow down.     "As you wish, our Lord.", they both replied.     "Maria, is there any way to make Rhamnus invisible to others?", I asked. She bown down.     "My Lord, it is difficult to use magic alone. But if you want to cover the Rhamnus with dirt, I can conceal it." I think for a second, covering a palace with dirt can't still hide it.     "Hiroto, is there any hills outside our Castle?"     "Unfortunately, nothing my Lord.", He replied.     "What if we put some dummy hills, will it hide the Rhamnus?", I asked.     "Yes my Lord, it will certainly hide us."     "Maria and Mare, make some dummy hills to hide Rhamnus."     "Understand, our Lord.", they both replied.     "Continue working faithfully in my name!" I'm tired. So, I teleported back inside the palace and fled to my room. Sebastian's POV We all rise up when Lord Takeru teleported back inside the palace.     "T-that was really scary sis!", Mare told Maria.     "Seriously, I thought we were going to get scolded by our Lord Takeru!", his sister replied.     "To think he would be this amazing.", Hayabusa added.     "So that was Lord Takeru is when he truly show us what a wonderful ruler he is.", I said.     "So it seems.", Dhalia replied.     "It seems like he answered to our vow faithfulness to him.", Hayabusa said.     "He responded to our feelings and acted like an absolute ruler for us. Like our creator expected! Among 30 supreme beings, he is the one who stands at the top! He is a merciful man who stayed behind in this land until the end.", I said proudly.     "Then, I shall return first. I needed to be always by Lord Takeru's side.", Hiroto said.     "Okay. Inform me immediately if anything happens.", I replied.     "I understand. Then I shall have my leave, floor guardians.", He said and teleported.     "Now, we should begin with our plans.", I said. We all went to the 9th floor where the round table is to discuss our plan in protecting Rhamnus and our Great Lord Takeru. We didn't have any problem in discussing our plans.     "You can all go back to your floors now and don't forget what our Lord told you all to do.", I commanded.     "Understood, Head Guardian.", They said in chorus.
