CONFESSION PART ONE

After the graduation, Christine’s family and Daryl’s family ate at a restaurant to celebrate the graduation of their children. Christine was holding Daryl’s hand while laughing and the other was holding a bouquet that Daryl gave to her. Daniel was looking at them from a far and thinking to himself that he did the right thing. Christine’s father Mr. Robert called a waiter to take a picture of the whole family. The family were smiling ear to ear, they are happy that their children are together and at a very young age they know how to respect and trust each other. Robert was looking at his Child and remembers the talk that they had. He was glad that he made the right decision when Daryl ask for his permission to become her daughter suitor, he remember clearly that after what happened to the beach Daryl became distant to his daughter and he often saw her daughter sad, and this broke his heart because Christine is his only child for him Christine deserves to be happy but he was scared that one day a man will steal his daughter from him and hurt her without his knowledge and he was so afraid that because of his daughter innocence she will just endure everything, little did he know that it will happen to his little princess.

When he saw his daughter sad and barely talked to them he asked Daniel what happened, Daniel waited for his wife and daughter to fall asleep before he told everything. After the fight at the beach when Ken carried Christine Daryl distances himself because he was jealous, but his little girl confronted Daryl and said “what is your problem? Why are you giving me cold shoulders? What did I do wrong?” Christine asked Daryl that time while Daryl has a stoic expression on his face he said in an annoyance “nothing” Daryl was there at that time looking out for Christine he knew that Daryl is a short tempered man if Daryl raise his voice to Christine he will not hesitate to stop him and get Christine away from him.

But to his surprise it led to Daryl confessing his feelings toward Christine. “Look whatever you problem is you have to fix it, I am your freaking friend and I am always willing to listen and help you to every extent that I can, but Daryl I will not be able to do that if you will not tell me what is wrong'' Christine said to Daryl she was about to walk away when Daryl hug her from behind and said “I like you, I really like you for a very long time and I cannot stop myself from liking you, I know that this is wrong we are still high-schoolers but I cannot help myself whenever a boy confessing his feelings to you or whenever there is someone who give you gifts or when someone made you laugh, I cannot help but to be mad, because they can freely confess to you but I can’t because I do not want to ruin what we have, because this is the most amazing thing that happened to me” he pour his heart out because he cannot help himself anymore, he cannot help it whenever a man staring at her, he cannot help himself when there is another person who wants her. But to his surprise Christine face him and touch his cheek and he lean his cheeks to her hand “I like you too, not as a friend but in a romantic way, but Daryl m parents will not allowed us because we are still young, we have to control ourselves and when the time comes we will date each other in front of everyone and will able to say to all of them that we are a couple” When Daniel heard this his tears fell from his cheeks but he was smiling, he was heartbroken but he was happy because his angel find her happiness even though that it is not him he the important thing is that she is happy and contented. Whenever Christine and Daryl are in the school it is never the same, they will always stare at each other like they haven’t seen each other for years and Christine will always blush, her eyes contain love, admiration and trust. She was sad because they know what they feel for each other but they cannot be together. After learning everything from Daniel, Robert Christine’s father went to his child room when he knocked on her door, his daughter immediately opened it and smiled at him. “Hello Daddy, when did you came back from work?” she hugged him tightly and laugh at her “My little princess daddy was already here before you came back, you just did not notice me” he hugged her back and pat her head, this is always his signature gesture to his daughter, he will always pat her head or her back whenever she is sad even when she was a kid. “I am sorry daddy I thought you haven’t I am just thinking something that is why I did not notice you I know that I am not myself from some time already but I do not want you to worried at me, everything is fine” she said with a smile that is plaster to her face “How about we talk about it, I bought some ice cream I will bring it here and we should have a good talk about it, will it be okay?” he asked Christine and praying that she will say yes because he wants to know everything from his kid. Christine bow her head and stare at the floor for a couple of minutes before answering her father “Okay daddy, but I hope that you will not be mad at me” Robert smiled at his child and pat her head again “since when did daddy became mad to his little princess for no reason” Christine smile at him and said “I want a strawberry” he smile at his daughter and said “your wish is my command” and he went downstairs
