Alisa A dark growl rumbles in the gloomy forest, and a solid black wolf the size of an outhouse comes stalking out of the forest. The rogues freeze where they stand. My heart plummets. I’ve never heard anything like it. The rogue trying to wrestle me to the ground abruptly lets me go. My n****e aches and throbs after he so viciously twisted it, and I do everything I can to cover myself with my hands and arms. “It’s him,” the rogue croaks. “Him who?” I ask before I can stop myself. “The Alpha.” My stomach turns to liquid.
