I play with my fingers on Ethan’s back as we slowly wake up. The sun is barely shining through the curtains and I feel like I could sleep for hours and hours more, but I also know that Levi can wake up at any moment now.
“Good morning.” Ethan turns around and gives me a kiss, holding my hand and pulling it close. “Sleep well?”
“Yeah.” We went to bed way too late, but the barbecue was really good and the alcohol really helped with falling asleep quickly. “That was a good party.”
“Well, I hope you’re up for more.” Ethan’s eyes twinkle. “They’re here for a couple more days.”
Something that I heard last night comes back to me. “I think your dad wants to stay here a lot longer than that.”
“Longer?” Ethan frowns and I give him a quick kiss.
“Yes, longer, as in permanent longer.”
