Max wraps his arms around me from the back as we look down over the barbecue in the garden below.
He slowly kisses my neck and grazes his teeth over the sensitive skin there.
“Max…” I know I should push him away, but I don’t really want to. I’ve been wanting this amazing man behind me all day, and we’re finally alone. Levi is in bed and asleep, exhausted from the barbecue and playing with his cousins, even Holly had joined them in the end. And the people outside don’t expect us back just yet. I know that maybe waiting a couple of hours is a better idea, but we’re here now, and don’t have anything to get back to.
