As the afternoon goes on my parents and Alexia and her brand new wife also join us. Alexia finally met the woman of her dreams while she was on a training mission and one of her people fell ill.
The woman is an army nurse and has recently moved closer so she could be with Alexia full time. It’s been just a few weeks since their wedding and the two are still glowing when they look at each other.
It’s nice to see her this happy, especially since she was not very pleased that I met Ethan so soon. Though she never showed her displeasure openly. I knew it was hard for her for a while, but she quickly took to my lovely man and they’ve been good friends since, too good sometimes if you ask me.
