Chapter 39After a short discussion and briefing, Sanjay instructed Phil and Donnie to interview Robbie as they'd been the ones who'd seen him before. Sanjay watched and listened from outside.
“Do you know who did it?” Robbie asked, as soon as they entered the room.
“As a matter of fact, we think we do,” Donny replied, “although there are gaps we need to fill.”
“Before going any further, I want to check with you one last time; you were given the option to have someone accompany you. You could have a member of your family or a friend or you could ask for a solicitor,” Phil offered.
“Why would I want that? You may want to know things I don't discuss with my family and I haven't done anything I consider wrong. No, I'm happy to handle things by myself.” Robbie's attitude was smug.
