Useless!

Devon searched everywhere for her. he was occupied with Evie he did not think she would leave.

he called Natasha to find out if she returned home. "No Mr Presley.. Aria has not returned yet." after getting her phone number from his house keeper he called it several times , it could not go through her cellphone was switched off. Devon sent out people to search for her. where the hell could she have gone too.

Aria fell asleep when she arrived back at college. Since she had dropped out . the girls where given another roommate that took her space in the tiny apartment, she did not like being replaced this was her bed but now it belonged to someone else so she feel asleep on the tiny couch while they where chatting.

even though her head was spinning with a million thoughts, she liked hanging out with her friends, she liked being back here, it made her feel like her life was normal once more. she had forgotten about Devon, she had forgotten she saw him with another woman.

it was morning and the sun was already up shining. brighlty

"good morning Ari you.. feeling better?" Callie was making breakfast and getting ready for class. Aria woke up and rubbed her eyes. the first thing that came to her mind was everything that happened last night and it made her feel bad again for some reason.

"you should sue him for infidelity.. " those where the words Meredith said to her when she told her what happened. on what basis would she accuse him of infidelity.

"he is a cheater" Callie also said.

but would she call it cheating if their was nothing between them. Maybe he had feelings for that woman and she came between them. Despite being his wife, she felt like she was the other woman who invaded his relationship with that Evie.

"good morning Callie ..i.. am feeling fantastic" she smiled brightly.

"you are lucky you dropped out before the stupid exams began .. do you have any idea how much time i spent on studying .. i haven't gone out in days .. it makes me sick.. "

Meredith dropped herself on the chair next to Aria and pretended to faint.

"what are you complaining about .... mass com is not as hard as nursing.. i have to study double the amount of time you do" Callie said as she waved a spoon in her hands like an old woman ready to scold her grandchildren.

"oh come on Callie ... if you think its so easy why don't you go and write my paper for today.."

"fine .. i will do that only if you write mine.. then we get to see which one is the most difficult."

Aria shook her head listening to her friend's silly argument

"i am pretty sure you will both get expelled if you do that"

"i wouldn't mind.. am sick of this school"

Meredith covered her hands on her face. "yeah but your father will" Aria said with a smile. .

"yeah... hurry up Calli. we only have 30 minutes to get dressed before its time to go"

Aria remained alone in the apartment after her friends went to their classes. even though she wanted to, she knew she could not stay here forever, this was not her world anymore.

Callie left some clothes for her to change into, they had almost the same size. Aria wore them and tied her hair into a low pony tail. she did not have a wig or her clothes to hide in but she knew there where no crazy paparazzi here . if she gets into a taxi then she will make it back just fine.

she looked at the room one more time before locking it and walking away. once she was out of the building, she walked really fast heading out to the road. she stood and waited for a taxi. after some minutes a car stopped in front of her.

the person inside the car rolled his window down.

"Aria.." he called her name. Aria felt her entire body crawl with goosebumps when she saw his face. she turned and started walking away from the car.

"Aria wait... "

Aria did not stop nor did she look at him.

"Aria stop!!.. " when she continued walking.. he ran up to her and grabbed her hand making her face him.

"Stop!!! ... "

he held her hand so tight it hurt her. "Let go of me.!!! " she tried to pull it from his grip.

"i said let go of me Pete!!!!" her eyes where looking at him angrily. this was the first time she saw him since he cheated on her. why did she have to run into him. Aria was beyond angry she hated him because of what he did to her.

"stop struggling i just want to talk!!!" he grabbed her other hand again.

"i don't wan to talk to you ... leave me!!"

he did not leave her.

"is it true ... you got married???... is it f*****g true" his eyes grew with anger when he asked her and when he saw a ring on her finger.

"that's non of your business!!.. let go of me!!!"

"how can you get married?? .. how can you marry another man?... "

what right did he have in asking her that. after he cheated on her. she did not want to explain herself to this man, she pulled her hands forcefully from him but he pulled her again.

" you have to tell me !!! answer me damn it!!!"

"why .... why should i answer you ... you are nobody to me... you are nothing but a cheater. "

"it was only s*x Aria.. i don't love that girl.. i love you..its you i f*****g Love.. its you i want.. it drove me crazy when i couldn't touch you ... am a man .. every man needs it.. you refused me so i was satisfying myself with her!!!!"

Aria could not believe what she was hearing after telling him about what she went through, after he promised her to wait for her, he was actually sleeping with other woman. was a relationship only defined by s*x?. she took a step back from him.

"you don't have a single clue about what love is.. i regret the day i met you!!. .

if what he felt for her was love then what her father felt for her mother was something else. her father was still in love with her even after she left him many years ago . but Pete cheated because Aria was still traumatized to let a man get close to her. "you are pathetic Pete.. just leave me alone!!!!"

"pathetic??? ... ill show you whose pathetic.." he grabbed her by the shoulders and pulled her close to him trying to kiss her forcefully.

Aria felt disgusted when he touched her. her body tensed up again just like it did before, she got scared . she did not want him to kiss her. she raised her knee and hit him in his groin with force.

he instantly let go of her. "aaahhh** you stupid b***h!!!*"

she could not believe this was the same Pete who she liked not too long ago. the same man she danced with the same man she laughed with. people can pretend. she thought she had seen his true colors when he cheated but she was wrong. Pete had no colors. Pete was dark and Harlow. for the first time, she actually felt relieved she caught him cheating that day. it saved her from falling for a monster in disguise.

she did not wait to face him anymore and immediately ran away. but he wouldn't let her go so easily he grabbed her hand again.

"Leave me!!!" she screamed.

"i will make sure you pay for that." he dragged her by the hand pulling her back.

she tried to hit him again but he was fast and avoided her attack.

Aria bent her head and bit his hand really hard Aria would not let him have his way without fighting back. she wanted to be free from this man. he did not let go of her..

"Pete!!!!! let me go!!" she screamed but he was like a mad man and nothing she said made him stop. he started pulling her towards his car. this time..

"LEAVE HER!!!". a deep angry voice rang in her ears. Aria looked back and saw Devon. he was holding her other hand. she looked in his eyes and saw how vicious he looked. she had never seen him look like that even when he was angry with her. his eyes where burning with anger as he looked at Pete like a predator. Aria felt like she was a prey in the middle. while they both held her hand like a tag of war.

Pete looked at Aria and then at the man holding her. he recognized Devon and he knew this was the man Aria married he could not believe it still. Pete felt true fear looking in Devon's eyes. he knew he could not win in a fight against him.. plus there where 4 body guards standing behind him. slowly he let go of his grip on Aria and took a step back.

Devon pulled Aria behind him. he looked at Pete, his hands where itching and ready to beat the life of out him. he could not hold his urge down , the minute he saw what was happening, he lost control. he took a step closer to Pete and punched him his nose could be heard breaking.

Pete staggered backwards and blood dripped from his nose. he held it with both hands.

"she's useless.!!" he said.

Devon went and grabbed him by the collar lifting him up inches from the ground. "what the f**k did you say??" he hated the words Pete used.

Pete smiled with blood on his lips. he spoke in a low tone only Devon could hear "i said she is useless... what good is a wife who doesn't let you touch her....i was with her you know... she doesn't let a man touch her... she's useless. she's broken .. !!!" he laughed this time. he remembered clearly what Aria told him. and he knew she would never let anyone touch her. he knew she was traumatized. to him ,she was like an incomplete woman.

Devon dropped Pete on the ground with force. if he did not stop himself he was certain he would finish the life out of him right here. he looked at Aria who was holding her hand on her mouth probably in shock. he went to and wanted to grab her hand again but when he saw the red bruises that where left on her he stopped his hand mid air. "Lets go.. " she looked at him like she did not hear what he just said. it made he furious.

"NOW!!!!!" his voice was commanding it startled her. he could see how scared she was when he said that.

all night he was searching for her. when he did not find her, he started to worry something might have happened to her. there where a lot of people at the museum and a lot of him where his enemies. no one saw her leave the museum so he figured someone must have taken her out through the back door. not a lot of people knew the museum had a secret door the staff used. if anyone took Aria out it had to be someone with connections . midnight came he still did not find her. he asked the security at the museum to check the cameras. after checking ,. he saw footage of her entering the bathroom and then it showed one of her friends entering the same bathroom after sometime.

he hated the chaos she caused because of her childish and reckless actions by leaving like that he had people everywhere in the city looking for her , he even yelled at the security he hired for her and all this time she had left with her friend. it made him furious . he waited until morning came, it was past 9 and she was still not home. Devon decided to follow her. he was not expecting to find another man harassing her.
