Roses and Thorns

Aria held her shoulders as she walked in the dark ..following a strange road in a city she did not know,

the wind was blowing against her but she kept on walking ..not even the rains threatening to fall could pull her back , everything that happened back at that mansion was playing in her head like a movie.the image of that girl on top of Pete both of them naked lingered in her mind. When Aria opened the door and saw them , her heart broke..the same heart that was starting to beat again because of him was shattered into a thousand pieces ..all the new feelings she was developing filling her like water in a cup turned into lava burning it along.The same man she was imagining a future with earlier during the day destroyed her soul at night."why Pete" where the only words she could say when he stood before her holding nothing but a bed sheet to cover his nude body.The naked girl yelled at Aria and the people that where standing behind her witnessing his betrayal."my love who are these people?"she asked him,.. my love ??...Aria looked past Pete and stared at the girl seated on the bed covering her self with his shirt."You are a disgusting human being Pete cheater!!! ...how could you do this to Aria"

Callie yelled saying the things Aria could not say..

"What do you mean? ..Pete baby what is happening"

The girl asked again she walked to Pete and hugged him from behind shielding her body with his..Pete did not push her away.

Aria felt like screaming but she did not.

she could already tell by the look on Pete's face ...this girl wasn't just a random girl he was hooking up with, this girl was also his girlfriend , Pete was cheating on her,

This was his true colors behind that perfect face was a monster who played her like she was a piece of paper. Once again she was betrayed by someone she opened her heart to , once again her heart was thrown and squashed right in her face."why?" she asked him , why did he do this to her, why did he make her fall for him only to hurt her like this, why did he spend all those months holding her telling her he wait would when he was bedding another,

if he did not have any warmth in his heart for her then why did he shield her from the cold , why give her Roses and then stab her with thorns.

"Aria..." he said her name .there was no emotion in his eyes nor in his voice,

Aria wondered if it was always like this, did he always say her name like that , did he always look at her without any warmth , was everything her imagination , was she blinded by his blue ocean that lured her in.

a small bird she dived and drowned to its harshness his perfect smile that made her forget to see his true nature,Was her mind in a hurry to burry her past heartbreak that it ended up accepting the first man that called her pretty, was she so eager to feel again and to reach for the stars that she didn't realise she was standing on the edge of a cliff,

this city blinded her with its lights letting her spirit rise only for it crush her to the ground.

"Who is this bitch.."

Meredith asked,.... her and Roger where the only ones who did not look surprised by the seen in front of them , she knew Pete all too well but despite everything she thought that maybe Aria changed him, she was wrong about that, her brother will never be tamed not even by an angel like Aria..

she gave him her light and he gave her pain. He was and will always be a wild dog who can never be tamed , Meredith deeply regretted not ever having told Aria her brother's true nature ..she hoped for the best and in the end Aria got the worst.

"excuse me ..who are you calling a bitch...am his girlfriend"

the girl responded. Aria did not realise her tears where falling, she was crying because this was like the past repeating itself. Her wounds being ripped open again.

She smiled at Pete, could she blame him though, this was all her fault letting herself be carried away so easily , even though her mind thought she was ready , her body knew she was not. And her heart suffered the consequences of her abruptness.

she could only blame herself not anyone else. Maybe these feelings weren't meant for her cause every time she caught them they gave her pain.

Aria looked at Pete waiting for him to say something , he did not say anything , she turned around and left ...running down the stairs without looking back, Meredith and Callie called after her.

she did not stop till she was far away from the mansion, Aria wanted to run till she did not feel the pain,.. 'it was not Pete. It was you'

these where the words ringing in her head.

She wiped her tears and she walked she blaming herself for ever trusting a monster like him.

Her sadness grew towards herself and her anger towards Pete.

something landed on her head, the drops of rain where starting to fall slowly fall from the sky, she looked up and they landed on her face.

it was as if the sky was feeling whatever she was feeling , it was crying with her . Aria wiped her tears and closed her eyes. She did not want to cry anymore ..she had cried enough ...only the sky is allowed to cry not her.

She did not want to shed any tears caused by betrayal. Even if she and the sky flooded this entire city with rain and tears her pain will still be there.

and she wanted to burry tonight along with that night, deep in the corners of her heart . No matter what happened she was never going to allow anyone resurface them. Along with her feelings they all died tonight.

it kept on raining every drop getting stronger.. her clothes slowly getting wet by the second washing her in its waters, it rained heavily.

Aria saw a small coffee shop along the road, she walked over to it wanting to take shelter ...her clothes where already wet she wanted to go back to the hotel but she did not know how to get there , after leaving the mansion..she was running without knowing where she was headed.

the coffee shop was closed with no sign of any presence around. she wanted to call Callie, her phone was missing and had no idea where she dropped it.

This started as a beautiful day but ended up being a bad terrible day.

she leaned on a car parked near the shop and closed her eyes , why worry about something you can't control, sooner or later it will stop raining and the sun will shine, it will be morning she will go back to campus and move on like tonight never happened.

"Excuse me"...

"Hello miss?"

Aria had her eyes closed ..she was deep in thought that she did not hear the voice of a man talking to her.

"Is everything okay"

His words finally reached her subconscious and made her eyes open.

She was facing her head towards the ground and the first thing she saw was a pair of black men's shoes standing in a puddle of water.

She trailed her eyes upwards to the black trousers he wore.she continued till she saw his chest covered in a white shirt and slightly unbuttoned from his neck. his chest peeked out a little .

He was drenched by the rain but she could still see his muscles through the material.

Aria felt something in her heart it was fear ..she hesitantly looked up at his face and met his gaze her body tensed up just by the sight of him,

he was tall NBA not average height and looking down on her she felt intimidated by his presence all her brain was telling her to do was run!!!.

she could not describe into words the man she was looking at with the street light shining on them, His features where dangerously attractive. his jawline, his lips his nose nothing like she had ever seen before. Everything about him looked like they where curved to perfection by the gods .

His entire being screamed power, and she could feel it just by looking at him. Aria had seen a lot of boys but the person before her was a man and she could feel it. He was like an angel without wings so perfect he scared her, her brain immediately reminded her of the beautiful devils she read in books . No if this man was an angel then he had to be the king of them all.the rain was falling on him too and water dripped from his hair down to his clothes..he looked like a walking temptation. Pete couldn't even hold a candle next to him ...this man stood alone in his own lane.

"is everything okay?"

she blinked twice at his words , even his crisp voice made her tremble , there was something in the way he talked gentle, smooth and clear.

Aria pulled her thoughts but to focus..

"yes .."

what else could she say her throat ran dry already.

"You don't look fine"

he spoke, she felt concern in his words or was she imagining things again.

"i ....am fine"

"well miss would you mind-"

"i said am fine sir .."

not tonight of all nights this was not the night to deal with a man again, no matter how handsome this man was , he arrived a little late.

"i just-"

"i said am fine ...thanks for asking that's nice of you but... i really want to be left alone"

she cut him off and chocked on her words Aria was starting to get emotional again ..

"alright..."

the man took a step back and reached his hands in his pocket. She wondered what he was going to pull out , a gun? ..Aria panicked for a moment ..what if this stranger was a killer she was all. alone in the middle of the night he could kill her in an instant and nobody would know."please ..don't kill me....i didn't mean to be rude ..i just had a bad day ...-" Aria started blubbering anything that came to her head .

"what??"

he asked her looking surprised at her words.

"kill you..."

he noticed her wide eyes where focused on his hand that was in his pocket , did she think he was going to pull out a gun or a knife and shoot her what is wrong with this girl..he pulled out his hand and was holding a set of keys ..he brought them to her face dangling them in front of her eyes.

"you are leaning on my car ....am not trying to kill you."Aria went from panicking to feeling embarrassed , today was definitely not her day. "Am sorry.."

she said as she looked at the ground in embarrassment. "its okay....its not safe to stay in the rain, you might catch a cold ...ill drop you off where ever you are going"

the man spoke again, Aria looked at him she was mean to him but he was still offering her to take her home."no thank you...i don't mind the rain"

she said and moved aside from his car .. she did not want to look at him again, he probably thought she was weird, she just proceeded walking on the sidewalk, let it rain and wash her away if its wants to,the man's car drove past her flashing its lights ahead on the open road till it disappeared out of her sight, she simply smiled and remembered how stupid she was just now, over thinking every little thing , the man only wanted his car after all .Aria walked away from the coffee shop , it was still raining heavily and there was no sign of any building near by.

Another car stopped next to her, it was filled with drunk men playing loud music.

the driver opened his window and called to her and honked his car

"how much for one night sweety pie"

the rest of the men in the car all laughed at his words.Aria felt like throwing up when she heard them. Did they mistake her for a prostitute the thought made her sick to her stomach..

this night was going from bad to worse.

she decided to ignore them and kept walking .

"don't be stingy with us baby doll come over here and let me rip your dress off....i promise we will give you a good time,"

The other man spoke but Aria chose to ignore them instead and walked faster. Who knew a nice city like this also had perverts .

She heard the door open ,Aria looked behind and saw the driver walk towards her ...she knew immediately she was in danger these men where drunk and a lot of them they could easily overpower her.

she started running again , she needed to get away from them, heaven knew why she did not accept that man's offer when he asked to drop her off maybe she was safer with him than out here ,who was going to help her from these men.

she could here them chasing after her and their car's engine ready to go, how could she out run a car.
