one year went by really fast, during her first break from school Aria went to visit her family, she had missed everyone home but mostly her father,

A lot of the students also went to there homes Meredith, Callie and Pete.

Her father welcomed her at the airport and brought her back home, Mr Remington could tell that his daughter looked happier and more lively she talked so much about her school and her new friends, he learnt that she had a boyfriend, and by the looks of if he was treating her good.

"you should bring him ...i meet him"

he told her and she agreed, he hoped she stayed like that always , only he knew how much she had gone through so seeing the little light in her start to show was nice.

Aria returned to her home and just like her dad promised her room was there the same way she left it,Jamie also had a break from her school so she came back.they spent the whole two weeks together just like the old times , they would talk about anything and everything , Aria told Jamie about Pete , Meredith and Callie. plus all the other friends she had there.Jamie also had her own adventures in a new city she went to , she had always been adventurous and spontaneous, she did not have a boyfriend but she did have a wonderful year at her college.the entire two weeks , Aria and Pete did not miss a single day without talking, even with a huge time difference they still managed the long distance till it was time to go back to school.The first month back in school, she did not see Pete, he did not come back with the rest ....he told her that he had another family business to attend too. Aria asked why Meredith never attended the business too but she told him that there father preferred Pete to attend the matters more.Aria understood his busyness so she focused on her studies during his time away.

Callie had invited the girls to one of her cousins wedding.

"its just for the weekend plus we will back on Sunday and get ready for classes"

"on come on Callie...how can we travel out of the school."

Meredith asked .

"its going to be fun, we can drive there tomorrow , explore the city and attend the wedding on Saturday and on Sunday we will be back here"

"Plus all my cute and hot very

.very hot cousins will be there ...aah i cant wait"

Callie said enthusiastically.

Aria grabbed a pillow and threw it at her

"cousins ....you have a crush on your cousins ewwww Cals"

"not close cousins okay ....distant cousins ...not real real cousins plus i cant help it,"

she said once more, Meredith only shook her head while Aria laughed.

"..lets do this we don't hang out more ....Meredith you are always busy with your fashion giggle friends "

"models !!"

Meredith tried to correct her.

"yeah whatever....and you Aria with Pete you guys are all over each other all the time ...since he is not here ...girls trip okay whose in "

"All of us duhhhh"

Meredith added and Aria agreed.

they spent the rest of the night packing for there weekend trip and in morning they left the campus with Meredith driving.

they where going to a city in the same state.

it was a 1 hour drive.

playing music and lip singing to there favourite songs , the girls enjoyed there road trip.

they arrived in Kingfolk city and booked a hotel ,they did not want to trouble Callie by staying at her family home ..it would be a big inconvenience although she did not mind...Kingfolk city was different from the city of Adena where they came from.

it was more ancient and had so many historical building and sculptures ..walking through the city was like walking into an old time in history.

They explored it more before spending a night at there hotel rooms .

it was not a very expensive hotel they booked a room with double beds.

Meredith shared a bed with Aria while Callie had a whole bed all to her self.

the wedding took place in a catholic church.

it was a very beautiful ceremony, watching two people embrace and accept each other in the presence of people promising to spend there lives together was not what Aria had imagined ,

she had seen weddings before but now looking at things from an adult's point of view was different, it was more beautiful.

She could tell the two of them loved each other so much "i do" the bride said ..and she wondered if she would ever stand like that in front of everyone and promise herself to someone.

she pictured herself in a dress by the alter

.the image of Pete appeared in her head , he was smiling at her saying the same vows the groom was telling his bride.

she smiled and hoped to fall for him till they were there at the alter.

don't be silly Aria..'

she scolded herself , knowing to well she let her heart take over her head for a second.

the ceremony was nice and even the after party. It lasted till late at night. Everyone of Callie's family was welcoming and nice they all felt at home.

Callie even sang a song for the newly wed .

it was a song that made everyone feel the moment , she had the voice of an angel.

They all left the wedding very happy, three girls with three different stories in a different town all having the time of there lives , they could not be any where else in the world , Aria wished Jamie was here too.

Meredith received a call ...she walked out of the room to answer it. Callie and Aria where all getting ready for bed, it was 10:pm and they where tired from the wedding .

Meredith walked back in wearing a bright smile.

"what happened" Aria asked.

she giggled happily before answering

"Turns out one of my friends from school is also from this town and his parents are away ...

soooooo he is having a party at their mansion and a lot of people will be there ...we are invited ....its only 20 minutes away from here"

they all looked at her without saying a word. Meredith was a party animal she could never get tired of partying.

"lets end this trip with one last party ....for the books."

Callie got up and went over to her.

"you are a sick girl when it comes to partying ......but so am i so lets do this."

Aria thought Callie would at least say no but she was just like Meredith and now they where both looking at herwaiting for her to decide,

" i hate you guys ....and myself too....lets go!!!!"

they all screamed happily,

The girls decided to dress up extra for the party , Callie wore a black mini dress with high heels curled her hair and wore make up.

Meredith wore a shiny tight blue dress with sequins ,matching heels and matching makeup .

Aria wore a red short silky dress with a slit on the front , straightened her curly hair and wore make up. It was Meredith who dressed her up , this was different from her usual comfort style , she liked it ..tonight it was all for her two friends.

They looked like models who belonged on the cover of a magazine.

stepping out everyone around couldn't help but stare .

they slowly walked to the car , they decided to call a taxi driver . And exactly after 20 minutes they arrived at the massive mansion.

just from a distance music could be heard. The house was filled with all sorts of people that where partying really hard .

the girls also joined in the fun dancing and drinking.

Roger the host of the party walked over to them and pulled Meredith to the side .

"isn't he a friend of Pete's ?"

Callie asked , Aria remembered seeing them together a lot of times in the previous months

"Yeah he is....i guess"

"where is Pete anyway ...i have not seen him lately"

"he went out for some family business"

she replied,..Aria could not reach him since yesterday his line was off. And she wondered why it had never happened before.

"You guys are here too?"

Judy said ...she also attended the same college and they knew each other,

they greeted each other ...Aria was started feeling tired from all the dancing and the drinks.

"i feel a little dizzy ...i need to sit down."

She told Callie.

"Me too "

" Am tired too"

Judy said.

they left the large living area and headed up stared on the landing of there staircase watching the party from above .

Meredith was busy dancing with Roger.

She was the life of the party. Her blonde hair flying out as she danced

Aria stared at her phone checking if she received any call or messages from Pete but there was non.

"are you trying to call Pete?"

Callie noticed and asked.

"Yes his line is off" she said in a disappointed tone

"Pete ?..Pete ? the brother to Meredith?"

Judy asked.

"yes" Callie and Aria answered at the same time.

"i saw him here a while ago...he was with someone"

Aria did not know how to process the information,Pete was here ...with who and why did he not tell her about that.

"no maybe you must her mistaken him with someone"

Aria argued but she was trying to convince herself more with those words.

"no ...i can never mistake Pete ...i saw him earlier with a girl and Roger ..the headed up these stairs ..i don't know where they went but i definitely saw him"

Aria did not want to believe Judy , how could her boyfriend be at a party with another girl.

"lets find him ..."

Callie spoke and Judy agreed with her . Aria was a little hesitant but she followed , they searched every room on the second floor but he was not in any one of them .

they went outside and checked but he was not there .

Aria was about to give up ..maybe Judy did mistake him for someone else. suddenly,

saw his car parked under a tree , Aria did not notice it when they arrived but she could recognise this car from a mile away. It belonged to him, she approached and checked inside, he was not in there.

and now the certainly that he was here got real. She went back inside to check the third floor. it was restricted to VIPs only ..she was certain he was there somewhere ..and the thought of seeing him here with another girl scared her a little .

"sorry VIPs only the men at the entrance of the stair case blocked there path.

Callie called Meredith and told her to come up. Meredith was the only one amongst them who could get them through the door,

she had a lot of contacts .

luckily she came with Roger.

when Roger saw Aria, at first he did not recognise her because she looked different but now he could see her clearly , he knew his friend Pete was here too.

"let them in " he told the men and they let the four girls in.

Aria walked last behind them. There where five rooms upstairs and a landing with more people drinking. She looked through them but Pete was not there, Her eyes fell on a door that was closed. she wanted to walk towards it when Roger stopped her," that's my parents bedroom nobody is allowed to use that"

Aria could sense the hesitation in his words but she did not saw anything ..

"his not here i guess"

Judy said ..she was sure she did see him come up here.

"lets go enjoy this party and dance "Roger told the girls and they followed him.

Aria however remained rooted on her spot , her heart was beating loudly ..she looked at the door once again something was drawing her to it. and she listened to it, she walked towards the door and held the handle .

Roger called to her but she did not turn around "Hey Ari-"

she pushed it open with all her strength and it opened,

the sight that graced her eyes paralysed her entire soul
