a call from the doctor made Aria lay on the floor crying, tears fell silently from her eyes she cried for so long her eyes turned red. what was she going to do now, how would she tell her father what will he say he will be beyond disappointed. it felt like her dreams where thrown out of the window. everything she had ever hoped for was slipping from her hands. how can life be so unforgiving sometimes. Aria always kept away from men and the first man she gets with leaves her pregnant. why didn't the birth control pill work on her, ...was disappointment the headline of her destiny. this time it was worse. it wasn't a man who hurt her she felt as though she hurt herself with her own stupid actions , how the hell would she raise a child if she herself was irresponsible . and about the child what will she feed it, what will she clothe it, this was a slap on the face to her "you are stupid Aria Remington so stupid" she called herself all sorts of names and insults. but what was the point the damage had already been done. Callie who came back to their room was graced with the sight of a sobbing girl on the floor. "Aria what happened. "she knelt down and asked with concern. "am pregnant Callie...am pregnant" her voice broke saying those words, Callie knew exactly what Aria was going through, she had experienced everything before too. the feeling of hopelessness and not knowing what to do with what is to come, "its okay Aria it will be fine....please be strong" she tried her best to comfort her, Aria suddenly got up and looked at Callie like something had hit her. "Callie,..." she kept on looking at her wanting to say something but didn't know how to phrase it, it was something she never thought she would ever say or think of doing, the idea always seemed malicious and evil but now it seemed like her only choice. heaven would hate her for her thoughts. "Callie..." she called her friend once more. "i will have an abortion" not only Callie but Aria's heart stopped beating hearing her own words out loud, she didn't even look at Callie in the eyes anymore and looked at the floor. feeling ashamed by her self. "What!!!!!!!!!!" Callie got up furious at Aria. how could she think of something like that, how can Aria choose to terminate the life of a baby just like that. "No Aria...you cant do that. how can you even think of doing such a thing" Callie was looking down at her shaking her head. Aria felt like she was left with no choice." Callie its either this pregnancy or my life. everything I've ever worked hard for would be gone. my family would be broken how can i undo my actions and my mistakes" She said still crying. "Aria you cant fix a mistake with another mistake aborting this pregnancy wont ever make you live at peace with yourself" "but what choice do i have" Aria was not doing this to be selfish. if this child lived, she felt like she would be cursing it instead she knew she would not give it a normal life or a proper upbringing, Aria dreamed of having kids at some point in her life , to give them everything she never had. take them places she never been to but was it worth it to see your child live a life worse than the one you had. "No aria you have a choice, you cannot do this without thinking clearly" at some point years ago Callie also thought of the same thing when she found out she was pregnant, she was only a teenager back then and was very scared but she changed her mind and had her baby despite the struggles she went through. if Callie never had her daughter with her now she did not know if she could ever forgive herself , she loved her daughter more than anything in this world and she would be a bad friend if she let Aria miss out on that beautiful kind of love, a love so pure and true. "Aria you cant do this what about the baby's father, would he agree to this?? doesn't he have the right to know its his child too you know, its his blood" Aria never thought about Devon at all but Callie had a point this was their child too. would he agree to her having an abortion or would he want her to keep it and if he wanted her to keep it then what was the future for both of them, what would he be like, they did not have any relationship between them. Aria questioned her self this was more complicated. on the other side if she chose the abortion she would never forgive herself even though she would save her dreams but on the other side, choosing abortion without telling Devon would be like snatching him of his choice, they made love the two of them. so this decision had to come from the two of them. Aria wondered if she was ready to hear his opinion, and that was not the worst part, they only met one night and had a one night stand . she did not know him or what his life was like and he did not know hers too. should she just go look for him and break this news to him? what if he has a family a wife and kids of his own, would Aria be a home wrecker. her mind was buzzing from these thoughts. Aria had never been so scared and terrified in her entire life. her body was trembling for her future, a future that held a lot of questions . "all am saying is at least give it a chance before making your decision, find him and know what he thinks" Callie told her. "am scared Callie am scared ...how do i do this how?????" "am right here Ari everything will be fine okay" she held her and embraced her all Aria could do was cry in her friends arms. the sun had already set Aria was standing at the window looking into the horizon, seeing the different shades of colours left painted in the sky like a trial of what was a bright day, Aria crossed her hands and held herself. Meredith had just arrived, she spent a lot of time with her other friends these last days working on projects, she was tired , It had been 2 days since Aria found out she was pregnant and apart from Callie, nobody else knew, not even her best friend Jamie, she was still debating the subject in her head she however knew that a decision had to be made soon and fast. "am back ....all i want to do is rest am so tired" Meredith spoke while she sank her body in her bed. she did not pay much attention to Aria and did not notice her unusual mood. "Meredith, ...can i use your car, i have errands to run in the city" Aria decided to move now and find that man before it was too late. whatever happens whatever he says, she would take it , and after his decision , she would make her own. Aria was taught by her father how to drive, in her mind she only had one place to go, the house Devon brought her too on that rainy night, she did not see the road he used but she saw it when leaving in the morning, somewhere near the beach. her heart was beating a thousand times as she drove in silence. "what are you thinking Aria....you cant just walk into someone's life that." she thought to her self. was what she was doing the right thing. she looked ahead at the gated community, it seemed only wealthy people lived here, it stretched from the main road all the way to the beach. with parks and green trees around. houses stood a great distance from each other. only a house of glass was in her head. the security at the gate did not question her, they had seen her before and because of Meredith's car, they probably thought she was rich and visiting her friend. she drove till she certain she saw the house. Aria parked a few meters away from the house in constant battle with herself, her hands gripping the steering wheel tightly and her face in it. Deep breaths where all she could take. the house looked just as she remembered it so calm just like Devon. Aria forced herself out of the car and walked dragging herself as if her body wanted to go a different direction from the house. she was sweating and shaking everywhere, nervous was an understatement of how she felt. Aria stood by the door hesitantly she rang it. those few seconds that went by as she waited felt like torture, it was like time was moving anti clockwise. she pictured Devon's face opening the door and looking at her, he would be surprised by her presence Aria was certain. the way he left that morning and never bothered to speak with her maybe he never wanted to see her ever again . so what was she doing being back here again. "no" she turned around wanting to leave when the door opened behind her. Aria held her breath and clenched her fists. she turned around slowly and looked ahead. "hello, " a voice of a woman greeted her. the woman had dark brown hair, she wore casual clothes and smiled at Aria, she seemed to be in her 40s. Aria breathed when she did not see Devon and instead saw this woman, "hi...hi" she stammered returning the greeting. a few seconds of silence went on, both waiting for the other to speak. "can i help you" the woman spoke."yes" she answered. "i...i am looking for Devon". "Mr Presley??" the woman asked again. "Mr Presley???.... yes". "oh well, i am sorry miss but Mr Presley is not here, he doesn't live here" what does this woman mean he doesn't live here, she remembers this house correctly and if he doesn't live here then where does he live?. "i thought this is his house??" she asked. "yes it is, but Mr Presley doesn't live here in fact he rarely comes here, i am only a care taker. his lives somewhere in the city" what kind of a man has such a beautiful home and doesn't live in it? " do you have his address and if so can i please have it" the house keeper looked at Aria first no one ever came here looking for her boss and she was not allowed to give out personal information such as his address to anyone but looking at Aria she somehow felt the truthiness in her voice. "its important" Aria added. the woman thought for a while before agreeing. "wait a moment." she went back inside , after a few minutes she came back with a piece of paper in her hands. Aria took the paper from her and thanked the woman. she looked at the Address it was located in the city. She excused her self and walked to the car. was she ready for this. she did not know but she had already stared and there was no going back. she drove off to the city. soon she was parked in a underground parking lot of what looked like a pent house housing, a building so tall her neck would break if she ever tried counting how many stories it had. it was late at night. inside the lounge they was security, and bodyguards guarding the entrance, she wondered if she would ever get through. Aria decided to pretend like she knew exactly where she was and act with confidence. the security stopped her before she could even go any further. "who are you here to see?" the man dressed in a full security uniform asked. "i am here to see a friend". "whats the name of your friend and whats their penthouse number". why was this place so protected as if the president lives here or something. "excuse me this is absurd ...why do i need to provide such information when am only here to meet my friend??" she cringed at herself for being so rude but what choice did she have. "its protocol miss" " do you know who i am??? i am Meredith daughter of the Hathaway family, you must have heard who my father is and i am here to see Devon Presley. and if i tell him you kept me waiting here for no reason, you know what he will do, have you fired" she was shocked by her own words, Aria had no idea who Devon was. but she figured he was somehow influential so she played with his name and also Meredith's 'i am sorry Meredith" she silently spoke. what she did was bad, the security man did not ask any further questions and let her walk in. Aria walked straight to the elevator. the Number of the penthouse she was going to was 31 it was really high being in an elevator certainly did not help with her noisier.
