I couldn't believe what I was hearing, i didn't know that he had a twin sister and he never mentioned it. I zapped myself out of my thoughts remembering that I was currently doing something important. 

“tell me everything from the beginning, take it slow” I felt like holding his hands but I couldn’t 

“I was 5 years old on a certain day, my sister and I were playing in the living room when we heard noises outside and my dad decided to go check it out after a while my dad came back but he wasn't alone. He was with 5 people wearing masks, They told us to all lay down and asked my dad for money but he said he didn't have much at home so he had to go to the bank. They refused to believe him so they started off by shooting my moms sister who lived with us...” His breathing was getting unstable 

“OK good start now calm down remember it's only your memories you’re not there, now take your time and continue” he takes a deep breath 

“after they shot her they kept asking for the money but my dad told them he didn't have any at home, they decided to leave but took two of us with them as hostages in case our dad didnt plan on paying. They took us to this dark small basement with only one window which was very small so we felt suffocated and weak. After 3 days they started beating us and a.... And they r***d my twin sister who was barely 5. She couldn't take the pain, it wasn't long before she passed away. after getting my daily dosage of beatings They of course moved my sisters body by the side we heard noises and the the police raided the place. It was too late because my sister was already dead.” His breathing picked up a bit, tears were rolling Down my cheeks, how could someone bear this kind of pain alone?

“by the time in snap my fingers you'll wake up by the count of three. 1..2...3” I snap my fingers softly 

Abdulrazaq 

As soon as I opened my eyes someone rapped their arms around me and pulled me into a tight hug, She must feel really bad I guess. 

“anisa are you okay?” I found myself enquring

“no I just can't believe you went through so much, how can people be that heartless to a bunch of kids” she sobbed in my shoulder 

“yeah well some people have it worse” I could hear her sobbing as her body shook in my arms 

“never knew you were a softie.” I tried to lighten the mood up 

“I am not!” She pulled out of the hug and stared at me for a while before saying "you’re strong, most people who have this kind of cases usually have multiple personalities. But you just shut your emotions off, you must have struggled a lot with the nightmares your body couldn’t handle it anymore” she grabbed my hands as hers shook uncontrollably 

“I guess I shut out the world, what’s so good about feeling ? It’s just a lot of pain anyways” i shrug carelessly 

“you've been through a lot and I won't be an additional problem for you, so you can count on me.” I use my hand to gently wipe her tears. “thank you” I whispered to the girl who looked more scared for me than I was “you’re welcome.”

I went to bed around 9:00pm because I felt tired and I hated the pitiful look anisa gave me all day, I preferred the rude energetic her than her acting all obedient. I slowly began to fall asleep as the sound of the rain lulled. someone rushed into my room making me instantly open my eyes.

“anisa what are you doing in my room?” I rubbed my eyes sitting up 

Anisa's 

I was sleeping when I heard the thunder and lightning straining, Now I might not be scared of lizards and snakes but I got scared of thunderstorms since when I was little. I ran out of my room and into Abduls. 

“anisa what are you doing in my room?” He sat up half naked 

“Its raining and I'm scared of thunderstorms.” I gulp clutching onto my pillow 

“so you want to stay in my room?” The sleep in his eyes was replaced by a predatory gaze 

“yes well when I was at home I usually stay with my mom but now there’s only you. I just want to sleep here nothing more, you stay on the left side of the bed and I'll stay by the right.” I try to bargain with him

“So you just came barging into my room at night and you want us to what? just sleep?” He asked stepping closer and arching his eyebrows 

“so what do you except? A reward or something” my sarcastic ass couldn’t shut up 

“what do you think I expect? I’m a man and you’re a woman. The last time I checked I'm not gay so why don't we make our parents proud?” I could see the huge grin on his face, he knew the whole thing scared the crap out of me and he Was more than happy to creep me out. 

“make our parents p-proud?” I stammered 

“yes let's give them grandkids, after all they deserve it don’t they?” Thecreepy look on his fake sent shivers down my spine 

“what the hell are you talking about? don't come near me you pervert.” He suddenly burst out laughing so hard, Seeing him laughing so hard made me realize he must have had fun scaring and teasing me. 

“wow you really did think that I was trying to have my way with you ?” He stepped away from me and walked towards the bed 

“well like you said you’re a guy”

“nah I'm good as long as you don't cross these pillows in between us we’re good.” He commented stacking the pillows in the middle “I promise I won't”

“then you’re safe, but if you cross it I’m definitely gonna do it. good night softie” he turned his back to be as he pulled the covers to cover himself “goodnight!” I whisper felling myself drift off into a slumber

I woke up and my head was on something hard,I slowly opened my eyes and couldn't believe that i was lying on top of him and his arms were around me. I felt my heart beat so fast, I tried to slowly slip out of his hold without waking him up but his grip was pretty tight. This is going to be awkward when he wakes up. I was lost in thought his voice shocked me 

“you promise not to cross the line didn't you?” His husky voice whispered in my ears 

“I didn't cr-...” I was about to argue when I realized he was actually right. "I guess I did didn't I?” I mumbled 

“well you broke your promise so I'll have to keep my end of the Bargain” he pushed me off him and onto my back

“wait! I was sleeping so I wasn't in my right mind, please just let this go.” I felt myself blush watching a shirtless dude pin my hands down as his body slides against mine 

“and here I was looking forward to it, fine be thankful I’m in a good mood today, now leave before I change my mind.” He moves away leaning against the headboard of the bed, I quickly got off  the bed and ran out of the room. That was close! 

During breakfast we ate in awkward silence until he decide to speak up ... 

“I’m going out to buy something's later, was wondering if you wanted to come with me cause I'm sure your tired of being stuck at home.” He offered “I would love to!” My voice sounded just as excited as I am 

“Good be ready by 5:00pm, we'll be leaving by 5:10pm” I nod taking a bite of my food

Around 5:00 I got ready, I wore a blue long dress and red veil with simple jewelries I didn't want to dress up because it was just a casual outing. 

I ended up waiting for him to get ready, he wore a grey kaftan and black Gucci palms with a Quartz wrist watch and sunglasses. 

We arrived at shoprite and proceeded inside. “buy whatever you want OK?”

“why are you suddenly being nice it's Scary.” He laughed out loud shaking his head 

“probably because I'll lock you up at home again” I rolled my eyes knowing there was an inch of truth in what he was saying .. 

We walked around picking what we needed and ignoring what we didn't until we stumbled against some girl, they kept staring at Abdulrazaq and pointing at him, I ignored them and continued shopping but not long after he left to answer his phone and those girls approached me. 

“excuse me I can't help but notice you and him, you look alike so you must be siblings right?” The first girl smiled at him, she was dark skinned with huge eyes and thick lips smeared in lip gloss.

“is there a problem I’m not aware of?” My voice asked hard 

“well he’s so handsome so we were wondering if you'll give us his number.” The second girl was more confident, it was understandable seeing as she was the prettiest amongst them.

“so you’re assuming we're siblings because we look alike?” My voice was laced in disbelief 

“yes you guys don't look good together so you must be siblings or am I wrong?” The third rolled her eyes in irritation, b***h she was ugliest!

“you know what? why don't you wait for him to come back he just went out to answer a phone call.” I fold my arms against my chest, They nodded And smiled at me. Surely enough after a while he came back. 

“who are these? Friends?” He raised his eyebrows eyes still on his phone 

“go ahead girls tell him what you told me.” I sneered 

“well were were passing by when we noticed you” the first girl spoke op 

“so we approached your sister asking for your number but she told us to wait for you.” The second girl completed the sentence 

“sister? Is that what she told you?” He looked up staring at them 

“well no but you guys don't match as a couple. which means your siblings right?” The ugly b***h sassed 

They all had huge grins on their faces and it was annoying me. Why were they staring at him in that way? I have to say I felt jealous.. 

“I’m sorry but she's not my sister but my wife, And even if she isn't how could you be so cheap as girls, have some self respect” he held my hand as we finished shopping and eventually left.
