Conversations and a long walk

We came back home tired, I couldn't wait to go to bed. Abdul was resuming work in a week so I have to come up with something to do while he's at work. After my bath I slipped into my pj's and then straight to bed, I fell asleep as soon as my head touched the pillow.
I was sleeping when a knock on the door woke me up, I looked at the clock and it was 8:00am I wonder what he wants. I sighed before walking to the door and opening it.
"it's still early what is it?" I found myself glaring at him
" going to the gym just wanted to tell you." Her answered adjusting the duffle back her held, I noticed he was wearing black gym pants and a black shirt with striped running down them.
"oh right, I'll prepare breakfast before you return" I slur
"please do cause I have a feeling I'm going to be very hungry."
" then off you go." Immediately he left I Set the alarm for 10am and went back to sleep.
Abdulrazaq
I pulled up at Sheraton hotel and made my way to the gym, I usually gym there because I've been a frequent customer for a long time so i find it comfortable.
Around 10:30am I was done, I packed my stuff up and was going out when I mistakenly knocked this girl to the ground. She looked up at me and I quickly tried to help her up but she had sprained her ankle.
"can you stand up.?" I tried helping her up again
"no it hurts really bad" her face scrunched up I'm discomfort
"OK let me take you to the hospital to get it checked, I'm sorry for the inconvenience." I tried my best to smile at her
"no its OK it isn't your fault, I wasn't really paying attention to where I was heading to" I helped her to the car and we drove to the hospital where she was treated and had a cast put on. I drove her home and apologized to her once again. "Once again I do apologize for what transpired earlier"
"no its OK don't worry I'll be fine. By the way what's your name?" She peered up at me with heated cheeks
"it's Abdulrazaq"
"that's nice, don't you want to know mine?"
"oh sorry for not asking, sure what's yours?" I stared ahead
"it's furaira, and it's a pleasure to meet you." I nod with a small smile
"you too, well I'll be going now, bye" I watch her limp out the car before I drove off, God human interactions ware me out.
It's been a really stressful 2 hours as I made my way home, I hope anisa is still not sleeping because I'm starving right. I parked my car in the garage and entered the house to find anisa watching,she looked beautiful in her blue skinny jeans and white silk top.
"Finally! You're back" She rolls off the couch being extra
"yes and I'm starving, food" I dropped my duffle bag on the couch walking into the living room
"your food is on the dining table." Sulhe picks the bag up hot on my heels "thanks luff." I whispered softly
"you were gone for almost 5 hours, is everything OK?"
"yeah just fine don't worry." I sat on the dinning table while she sat next to me still looking worried. "you look tired"
"I kind of am, I'll take a hot shower and go back to sleep after eating."
"yeah that would be better, By the way you'll be going back to work by next week so I want to enroll in something while you're busy to entertain myself" Sue rest her face in her hands staring at me waiting for approval
"yes about that, I contacted amal and she'll be here in three days, thought you might need company."
"oh my God, thanks a lot I didn't think of calling her. I'm stoked to have her around, she's funny"
"anyway do you have any idea what you want to do?"
"yeah baking, I'll enroll in baking classes I want to be great at it." I nod while sipping on my coconut drink
"can ask amal to teach you, She's great when it comes baking cakes and snacks."
"really? Wow that's convenient, I can do it at home then?" She asked a hopeful glee in her eyes
"of course but it's your choice this is your house anyway, now if you excuse me i need to rush upstairs to take a hot bath." I stand up stretching
"but you ate so little." She pout looking down at the plate of food I barely touched
"trust me I'm too tired to eat, I'll eat more when I wake up." I picked up my gym bag and rushed up the stairs.

It was 4:30pm and Abdul was still sleeping, I was worried so I decided to go check up on him. I opened the door to his room and made my way beside him, I stared at him as he snored peacefully before I gently pat him awake.
"w-what?" He stirred awake slowly
"it's getting late wake up" I rub his arm slowly
"what time is it?" He sits up throwing the duvet off him
"around 4:30 in the evening, you've been sleeping for a while now"
"ugh I feel so weak" he whispered with tired eyes
"why don't we go for a walk around the estate then? It might make you feel better and a lot strong"
"that sounds like a plan I'll get dressed." He walked over to his closet choosing what to wear while I rushed to my room and slipped on my dark blue Abaya over my clothes with a matching veil and flat shoe, Abdul wore his white jalabiya and palms.
We walked while I was listening to Jay Park me like yuh in full swing when my ear plugs got pulled out "what Is it?"
"you're totally ignoring me" he stared at me with a smile
"I'm not, I am just giving you space to think and clear your head."
"well I'm done so talk to me, entertain me" he stared straight ahead
"about what?" I asked wrapping my earplugs around my phone "anything" he mumbled slowly
"ok tell me about your previous relationship." I finally gathered the courage to ask
"uhm well it's nothing fun, we met each other during our NYSC. though I wasn't into her she said we had a connection. I tried to make it work but as you know I lack a lot of emotions so she left me."
"well at least you tried, It's better than giving up without doing anything."
"exactly, you know you're getting smarter right? is it because your married to a genius?" He raised an eyebrow with a smirk
"ugh you're so full of yourself" I groan rolling my eyes, We talked and walked and eventually got back home. I really hope our relationship keep getting better, I also can't wait for amal to arrive.
