It's been 3 days since amal arrived, The house is so lively and fun. Although I and Abdul don't talk much these days but we laugh a lot all thanks to amal.
I woke up early to prepare breakfast for Abdul, he was resuming work today. I place a plate of plantain with friend egg and sausages in front of him and he was happy to dig in. After breakfast I handed his lunch to him as well.
"what is this? A launch box?" He looked surprised
"well you can say that, I know you love home cooked meal so I'm saving you from eating cafeteria food" I hand it to him
"I feel like a primary school student right now.
"I know you prefer homemade food so I prepared some for you, appreciate the effort Mr"
"oh.. M.. Thanks, I'll be going then." I waved him off with a bye as well, ugh finally I can go back to sleep!

I arrived at work earlier than expected and walked straight into my office, I sat down to rest my head for a minute or two before I started working.
Its been almost 2 weeks since I've not been to work so there is so much to do and I couldn't help but feel sorry for myself, as I got lost in my thoughts a knock on the door startled me.
"someone is here to see you." My secretary informed me "OK let him in."
"it's a she sir" i furrowed my eyebrow in confusion "send her in then" I went back to flipping through some documents until I heard a familiar voice.
"you? What are you doing here?" My voice sound a bit harsher than I expected it to I be
"I just wanted to surprise you and I think I did." She smiled sitting on the seat opposite me.
"yeah sure, I'm blown away right now." I reply sarcastically
"obviously" the dumbass murmured not understanding my obvious irritation
"how did you know I work here?"
"well at the hospital you filled a form, and you wrote the company's address so i asked them for a little favor and here I am." She picked a pen from the table playing with it
"oh OK! Did I do something wrong again?" I deadpanned cause I don't see any reason for her to visit me
"well the doctor told me to come back in few days which happens to be today, so I'm here." She shrugged
"That's good, news flash though I'm not your doctor." I smiled taking a swipe at her
"you're not but it's your fault I got hurt so you might as well take responsibility until I'm healed." b***h thought she was cute but damn I was getting pissed off
"so you mean I'm going to have to drive you to the hospital and back until you get your cast removed?"
"exactly!" She giggled with her squeaky voice
"uh huh! OK let's go then." I needed to get this over with, looks like apart from my work I have another thing to take care of, God!

After my little nap, i decided to go watch TV but i was still bored, The house felt empty. Even though Abdul didn't talk much but he was still here, I sighed heavily which made amal give me a questionable look.
"what? I'm bored, the house feels empty."
"awwn so you miss him don't you?" Sue teased
"you're totally misunderstanding the situation, I don't mean it that way." I sit up correcting her
"of course you don't" clearly pointing out the sarcasm in her voice "Your relationship has gotten a lot better but you guys don't act like normal couples that date talk less of being married." She shook her head
"slowly, baby steps amal, baby steps."
"baby step my feet I want a niece, ya zainab's kids are all boys so hopefully you guys will have a girl, but none of that will happen if you keep taking baby steps!" She whisper yelled
"you're in a hurry! Relax" I look away firm her
"you're scared aren't you?" A smirk pulled against her lips
"about what? Of course I'm not stop forcing words into my mouth."
"you are, you're petrified of All this marriage and baby stuff." She read me like a book
"OK I am, And so what? I'm human okay, it's like things and time move so fast" I throw my hands around to express myself
"calm down I'm only trying to reason with you here, my brother is a guy with principles and you're a girl with a lot of pride. If you guys continue this way it's gonna take years before you give me a nice." And she was back with the baby stiff again
"then let it be, if it's meant to happen that way it will."
"but do you have feelings for my brother?"I stared at her for a second as her question replayed in my head again before answering her.
"no, not yet." I answered courtly

I pulled up in front of my office and we got out of the car. "well then your cast will be taken off in two days it's a relief."
"it sure is." Sue fiddled with her fingers shyly
"you sure you don't want me to drive you home?" I offered praying she rejects it
"no I asked my brother to pick me up on his way so am good thank you."
"OK then I'll see you around, bye" without waiting for her reply I turn around and walk away
"adios!" I hear her yell behind me, she's unbelievable!

I went back home after work feeling tired and exhausted. I took a hot bath, prayed and rushed downstairs to eat. I found my wife and sister watching the SBS awards, I think they forgot I existed, their eyes were fixed on the TV like glue. I was happy to be the one to ruin it by switching off the TV.
"what are you doing?" Her wide eyes snapped back at me in surprise
"nothing! Just wanted to tease and make you guys sad"
"obviously! so why are you disturbing us?" She rolled her eyes with irritation in them
"because I have nothing to doing and my so called wife is busy ogling other guys in suits" she lays back on the couch making the blah blah motion with her hand s
"then go to bed early, you must be tired. Plus how can you possible compare yourself with lee Jang Suk and them Lee Joon Gi that's just ridiculous" Amal nod agreeing with her
"I'll go away if you come with me?" I point at my wife while slipping my hand into my sweatpants pocket
"you're definitely not tired then." Sue fold her arms against her chest
"I am but I just don't feel like sleeping alone today." She blushed looking over at me
"you look ashen, are you sick? You're acting weird." Concern was laced in her voice
"I don't know i just don't feel well, so will you come with me or not?"
"Fine let's go then" she stood up and follows me hot on my heels

I lay down next to anisa and she was fast asleep, It's so amazing how she falls asleep easily. I gently brush the strands of hair away from her face. She really is beautiful and I can't help but admire her beauty, I felt this uncomfortable feeling in my throat and I cleared my throat over and over again, forgetting anisa was next to me until I hear her ask.
"are you okay?" That sleepy voice of hers was doing things to me
"yes I'm fine don't worry, just go back to sleep." I assure her
"okay then get some sleep would you?"
"I can't I feel this excruciating pain in my throat." I confess
"sore throat ?" She sits up staring at me
"that might me the case." She gently opened her beside drawer and brought out a pack of strepsils, not wasting any time she hand one to me. "thank you."
"don't mention it, just try to eat your eyes" I felt my eyes grow heavy and I slowly closed them drifting off to sleep.
