To Surpass Dao Chapter 24: Bandits arrived

The region they had arrived in seemed to have a weird name and the way the individuals kept talking seemed dangerous.

“The death canyon is a zone of bandits, the most of them killed travelers and the main reason that people hired travel agencies, though some also got killed in the process despite hiring help. This place is filled with different groups and it is lucky to avoid major gangs.” The captain seemed apprehensive as he observed around even identifying the five rich individuals on the ship. She also had an understanding that things might end up problematic. 

The moment the captain had many thoughts on her head and she reminded the crew, “ Be on the lookout in case any ambushes arise. Everyone also is prepared in case of anything be prepared to run.” The moment the captain seemed to be passing her message everyone seemed solemn and another individual also dressed in expensive clothing seemed to have activated some formation to send information. Luo Ping managed to sense it and even the information passed on seemed to be about the passengers on the ship.

Everyone in a panicked state had missed the action and the sleeping couple pretended to be in deep sleep so they had also missed it. The crew moved until they arrived deep in the canyon and eventually something happened. The road become blocked by some group of bandits and a ship appeared on the back blocking the escape route. Some powerful lineup appeared that even made the captain’s expression turn solemn. 

Everyone left the ship once surrounded and could already see that there seemed to be no escape present. The head of the bandits looked around and said, “ Good day gentlemen.” He seemed to be very excited about the harvest he could obtain today. The Captain stood up and responded to the greeting since the leader seemed less strong than her but the number of people they brought seemed enormous. She said, “ Hello, I am the captain of the transport team how about giving you 50000 God crystals and letting my ship pass through.”

The leader of the bandits seemed very happy upon hearing it and started celebrating before saying, “Everyone leaves behind their valuables and maybe might have a chance to live.” He observed everyone and could judge from the information he got that the couple seemed the poorest and even weaker without any energy fluctuations. He looked around and even observed Yao though she seemed just normal she could still be of some use. “You being so poor leave her behind and your ending might be quicker.” Referring to Luo Ping. 

He looked at the leader and asked, “ Why do you want my wife and plan to kill me we have no enmity?” The leader found Luo Ping naive and that also helped him determine him to be a weakling so he just smiled and his men also looked at Yao unbecomingly. 

Luo Ping asked, “ Are you having ideas about my wife?..” The other bandits laughed the leader affirmed by claiming, “ So.. what can you do about it. The strong make the rules.” Luo Ping just said,  “ Indeed, what a god realm even my wife doesn’t get to face. Hahaha… none of you shall leave including you.” Baoza suddenly looked at their rear and nobody seemed there other than the minions and a ship. He looked at the void and immediately waved his hand and some middle-aged man appeared. Then he looked among the passenger and said, “ You passed our information to him and he set up this raid. Are you also having ideas for my wife? Ignorant. No one in the God realm has the right to speak in front of me yet some ants even plot against us. Then die!” 

The moment the individual was revealed the bandit leader panicked and before anyone could move Luo Ping pointed and they turned to dust including the leader of the bandits. He observed the two on the side and commented, “ Ooh half-step supreme God even robs people nowadays” The middle-aged man panicked and said, “You can’t kill me I came from the Bai Clan our ancestor is a god monarch.”

“ Oooh does that mean all of them to work for your Bai clan? So killing them is offending it. But you offended me and have to pay since it is the Bai Clan’s fault they should also pay. From your ancestor too.”  Then he looked into the void and the Bai Clan appeared in view and everyone become astonished at this.

To control space like that is impossible and nobody in the God Realm can do it maybe the peak existences.

It is not something that God-kings can do. Immediately even a more terrifying thing happened a finger descended from the heavens and locked the entire Bai Clan and seemed to target anyone with their bloodline. The moment it descended the ancestor also appeared and shouted,” Audacious who dare offend my Bai Family”  Luo Ping just spoke softly and everyone around could hear it but in the projection, a sound wave descended echoing his words. “ What a Bai family just because of having several ants like you want to even kidnap my wife. Even ants in God-king realm are not that daring” The finger descended and everyone with Bai bloodline become ash. 

The crowd near Luo Ping seemed dazed and some just recovered after a bit after he waved at the two and they also turned to dust. “ Wife let’s go we almost delayed our important issues.” Yao seemed to be a bit shy and disappeared before appearing near Luo Ping and they also disappeared. The process seemed as they never existed and a clan become eradicated like that. 

The captain looked around and someone raised an important question,” What is god-king he talked about I know that supreme god is very strong.” The guards also looked at the captain that seemed to be more knowledgeable as she said, “ I once read that those that are true peak existence in the God realm are at the god-king realm.” 

“But didn’t that person just say they were ants” some other person also said something that had always bothered those that understood some truths? The captain continued saying, “ The texts also said that once someone surpassed the peak of God-king they could ascend to the heavens. Their cultivation realms are also higher than in this place..” she suddenly stopped talking and looked in the direction the youth went as if thinking something. 

Those that witnessed the fall of the Bai Clan thought that they had offended some old monster(An extremely old man that has high cultivation realm) that took revenge so spread rumors like that. The Bai Clan is in the human domain so the information just circulated that an old clan offended some old monster and thus paid for it. Beast domain remained unaware of such information even as Luo Ping and Yao entered the place by paying a thousand god crystals.
