He had read novels and knew that blood cultivators mostly were evil cultivators that slaughtered masses to refine their blood. The result is just trying to get vitality from their blood to increase theirs. Luo Ping could even create pills that could allow them to carry out the practice of refinement but their current bodies require very strong medical pills and the immortal realm could have the right resources.  

He planned to also improve formations and alchemy skills by getting hold of the medical herbs grown in the immortal realm. The most important is to obtain information once they head there but the need to ascend had yet arisen.
