To Surpass Dao chapter 15 : Moving around the mortal realm

Luo Ping also needs to find information about a phoenix to obtain its blood. Thinking of the issue he shook his head and put it off his head and started cultivating the body refinement art. He has enough time to move around once the cultivation level matches up to the recruitments. At the time they finished dealing with two body and soul cultivation techniques to the fourth level, Luo Ping had reached about eighty-seven years while Yao was almost ninety in a few months. Luo Ping utilized some of the materials he had obtained over the years from the system to create a treasure to act as their home. 

They could move it and even make a home anywhere but it could be regarded as normal since the level of refinement and formations engraved on it reached a high enough level. Luo Ping created a ship he had read so much in the novels. To be more specific a spaceship and even managed to get an artifact spirit though it seemed to be imperfect. 

The most important thing other than defense is the ability to run or disappear if the enemy is someone that could not be dealt with so he made a treasure just for that. The process took several months and once done they left the place and started moving around. 

Since they both made themselves appear very normal, no one could be interested in them. The attention they got became very minimal and thus they moved from one town to another and enjoyed seeing sites along the way. The process served to help them in the improvement of their experiences and thus even moved to other regions and learned that the central region selection for disciples began. 

The couple decided to go and check out the show and they become surprised that in the sects of the central region golden core below the age of thirteen can be handyman disciples, Nascent soul before sixteen outdoor disciples, soul formation before twenty inner disciples and the core disciples seemed to have even higher requirements... 

The situation for cultivation seemed different from the regions though as the amount of spirit energy accumulated in the region by far surpassed the other areas they had visited. They just paid attention to the procedures and decided to continue on their journey. “ This junior brother and sister are the two of you not going to take the exams and enter the sect” A teenager seemed to have noticed both of them leaving and decided to ask since their strength seemed more decent than his. 

Then Luo Ping said, “ Ooh actually the two of us lack the qualifications to enter the sect, we are a bit too old for the process” The kid looked at them and did not see anything about being a bit too old the only thing they had was a normal appearance and it lacked appeal to others. Those that heard those words seemed to feel pity for them since some people managed to reach soul formation at age twenty-four or five and could not get the qualification to enter the sect. Nobody blamed them for it, just somebody and they left just like that. 

The only thing the crowd overlooked is the actual ages of the two had surpassed theirs three to four times. Along the way they witnessed various issues in the cultivation world that could scare people. Luo Ping had also reminded Yao to not meddle in other people’s business unless necessary or someone came looking for trouble. 

Over the years on their travels, she even witnessed the cruelty of the world, people that someone helped ending up scheming against them. She once wanted to offer help to some woman that seemed to suffer abuse, Luo Ping stopped her and even brought her to a certain distance to observe a show. Once someone decided to pity her and help her, in the end, she schemed against them and had him killed. 

She finally understood the cruelty of the world and thus only listened to Luo Ping’s suggestions on issues. In the movement over different regions, the couple had spent over ten years traveling in almost every region and decided to explore the forbidden grounds. The areas were deemed too dangerous for even the strongest individuals in the mortal world. 

They obtained all the information on the seven forbidden zones and decided to check them all out and clear any treasures that might exist in there. Luo Ping speculated that some forbidden zones might hide even more important treasures than those present in the immortal or God realm. They both looked over the information they had obtained using a disguise and even became tracked by some individuals that never returned. 

The two left after a month of making preparations, and they mainly involved food ingredients that Luo Ping stacked, as he enjoyed a good meal just like the wife. It took them more than five days to reach the region with the forbidden zone but the journey seemed like they were on an adventure and some fools that set their sights on them as prey ended up losing their lives.

Arriving at the region, they become surprised since the temperature in the place was unusually low all year and had already made speculations that the forbidden zone had something to do with it. They entered the zone without wasting time and the journey had numerous traps that they easily avoided. 

Luo Ping could either destroy some or disable the formations in some areas but decided against it. Doing such a thing could end up causing some inconvenience and thus they traveled just like that until they got to the core region vicinity. The ice attribute treasures indeed surpassed everything he had obtained over the years. 

Moving through the region collecting some of the spiritual herbs present, Yao said,” You are very cruel.” She then laughed. She had realized that someone seemed to have followed them in, and once they reached the formations, Luo Ping just ignored them and brought Yao along, leaving them functioning. The poor man trapped in the formation seemed to have been killed there. 

“Someone has plans of using us like bait, how naive, it seems that once we leave, let's just use a formation to hide our presence completely. Before accomplishing our goals avoid some unnecessary problems.” He said that but seemed to have intentionally led the guy into the trap.
