Ezeriam’s pov

The next day I woke up feeling refreshed. I jumped up from bed and quickly walked to bathroom to brush and shower. After showering, I put on a dazzling yellow dress which reaches my knee. I got downstairs with the agreement paper in my hands. When I arrived Leon was already gone so I sat down alone at the dining hall.The old lady who I later on got know her name as Jessica served me breakfast. I enjoyed the meal whiles reading the agreement. After reading through everything was okay with me so I quickly signed it and put it aside. Feeling bored at home I called Beauty to meet me at our spot. I went upstairs and changed into a crop top with blue jeans before stepping out of the house. I got there there thirty minutes before time and ordered a drink whiles waiting for Beauty. Whiles waiting a guy suddenly sat down on my table.“sorry I’m late”he said. Excuse me but I think you got the wrong table,l said but ended up receiving a smirk which made me frown. “You sure because I’m supposed to be meeting my blind date here on table number six and this is table six”he replied.

I turned the card and I couldn’t tell if it was six or nine. I turned my head checking if I could see table number nine but it was rather table six. So I pointed out to the man that the restaurant must have made a mistake and mistakenly turned my card which is supposed to be table nine.“Ooooo my sorry my bad”he said as he stood up from the seat. I shake my head gesturing to him that it was nothing. “Gavy”he said with his hand stretched forth,Ezeriam I also said accepting the handshake. He left after that leaving me alone on the table. I sipped my juice whiles staring outside. That was my favorite spot to sit because I could never get enough of the view outside, I remember Beauty used to complain about me sitting close to the window but I never explained myself to her until she came to understand it herself. After waiting for twenty minutes Beauty arrived. She took her seat and we ordered food. Soon the food was served and we started eating. Whiles eating I told her about the earlier incident which she kept on laughing because she said it was funny. “What if his date had seen him sitting with you,what would have happened” she said. Then I would have explained to her what actually happened knowing that none of us is to be blamed, I simply said.

She nodded her head as her mouth was too full to talk.After eating we talked for a while and when it was half past six her boyfriend called her for them to meet. She wanted to decline but I told her to go and that I also had to go since I was now a married woman and I couldn’t stay out for that long.

She took a cab band left whiles the driver Leon gave me brought me home. When I got home Leon wasn’t there but food was already prepared. I told Jessica that I was already full and that she could pack them and give to the other servants. After informing her I went to my room,freshened up and went to bed.
