We slipped around the side of the house and through the narrow door, the hinges barely whispering as Axel eased it shut behind us, and the quiet that followed felt thick, like the house itself was holding its breath. The hallway was dim, shadows stretching long along the walls, and we moved slowly, close enough that I could feel their presence on either side of me even when they weren’t touching me yet.
Axel stopped in front of a door near the end, his hand brushing my lower back in a way that was more guiding than possessive, and when he opened it he stepped aside, letting me go in first. The room was simple but carefully kept, a large double bed sitting neatly made in the centre, surfaces clear, everything in its place, and I couldn’t help the quiet laugh that slipped out of me.
“This isn’t what I expected.” I said, turning back to look at them.
Atticus leaned against the doorframe, smiling softly. “We’re full of surprises.”
Axel closed the door behind them, the click of it sounding louder than it should have, and when he turned back to me his expression had shifted, lighter confidence replaced by something steadier, more intent. “Just so we’re clear.” He said gently, “we’re all adults here, and nothing happens unless you want it to.”
Something in his voice loosened a knot I hadn’t realised was there, and I nodded, my pulse skimming higher anyway. “I know.” I said. “I wouldn’t be here otherwise.”
Atticus crossed the room first, stopping in front of me without crowding, his fingers lifting to tuck a strand of hair behind my ear with a tenderness that surprised me. “You okay?” He asked quietly.
“Yeah.” I breathed. “I am.”
Axel came up behind me then, close enough that I could feel his warmth without being trapped, his hand resting at my waist like an anchor, and the combination of them, one in front of me and one behind, felt less overwhelming than it should have and more… grounding.
Atticus leaned in slowly, giving me time, his forehead resting briefly against mine as if he needed the contact too, and when his lips brushed mine it was soft and unhurried, a kiss that felt like a question rather than a demand. I answered it instinctively, my hands curling into his shirt as Axel’s hand tightened slightly at my waist, not claiming, just steady.
When Axel kissed me next it was different, deeper but still careful, his thumb tracing slow circles at my hip while Atticus stayed close, one hand warm against my back, the other lacing with my fingers like he wanted me to feel held rather than handled.
We moved together toward the bed without anyone saying it out loud, shoes abandoned, movements uncoordinated but sincere, laughter mixing with quiet breaths as we sank down onto the mattress.
Atticus started kissing down my jawline towards my neck, causing me to moan as he undid my bra and pulled my panties off.
he stood up striaght, staring at me like he was admiring me, before he started slowly removing his own clothes.
Axel leaned over and started kissing me before Atticus laid back down on top of me, my arousal already filling the room and driving the guys wild.
But even with that, they both took their time and worked slowly with every movement they made.
They took their time with me, with us, kisses lingering, touches slow and deliberate, every glance heavy with reassurance and want, until the world narrowed to warmth and closeness and the simple truth of being chosen in that moment.
When we finally settled, tangled together beneath the soft light, Axel pressed a kiss to my temple and Atticus’s arm stayed wrapped around me, protective without pressure, and I realised my heart was racing not from what we’d done, but from how safe it all felt.
I didn’t sleep at all that night but once I heard the guys' breaths steady I knew that they were asleep and I managed to get out of their grasp and I started looking for my clothes all around the room.
I tried to be as quiet as possible but as soon as one of them started moving in his sleep I would stop and hope that they didn’t wake up.
As soon as I managed to get enough clothes on, I snuck out of the bedroom and left the house the same way I came.
I walked down the road before I pulled out my phone and I started calling a number.
“Hello.” Ally answered urgently.
“Hi. Where are you?” I asked.
“Sleeping in the car. I wasn’t going to leave you here.” She said.
“Awesome. I’m on my way to you.” I said.
“Good. And I want details.” She said. So I rolled my eyes and hung up.
I headed back to the club but unlike a few hours ago, it was dead silent now. Everyone had closed up and gone home.
I saw Ally’s car still parked in the same spot and she unlocked the door as soon as I got there and I got in the driver’s seat.
I knew Ally couldn’t drive because she was way too drunk still and I started driving back towards home.
She asked me a million questions and I answered as simply as possible. I didn’t want to give her too many details and wanted to keep a lot of tonight to myself. Privately. But she was bugging me for more and more details.
“Ally. All I want to tell you is that it was amazing and I loved it. Alright.” I said.
“Alright. I hope they didn’t force you.” She said.
“Do I look like someone who was forced?” I asked.
“I guess not. That’s awesome. I’m so happy for you.” She said.
“I know that you thought I was gay and all this other s**t. I wasn’t a virgin before tonight.” I said.
“Wow. I didn’t know that. You really need to start opening up more.” She said.
“After last night, I think I’ve opened up enough.” I said and she started laughing.
“Those twins were ridiculously hot. I can’t believe you managed to bag both of them.” She said.
“Well, they probably see it as the other way around. They bagged me.” I said.
“Yeah. That's a good point. I don’t think Devin is too happy.” She said.
“Devin knows that we’re just friends. I’ve told him that. I don’t want anything to go further with him.” I said.
“I know. And he knows that too. But he still looked pretty jealous when they pushed him out of the way.” Ally said.
“Levi took over for me.” I said.
“Do you remember their names?” She asked and I looked at her with an incredulous look.
“Axel and Atticus.” I said.
“Okay. Good.” She said.
When we got back to our town I dropped Ally at home with her car and I got out and started walking home.
I took my time because I really didn’t want to get there too fast. I was already dreading it, but I knew that I had to go home at some point.
As soon as I walked in the front door I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw my father standing there waiting for me, holding a thin silver whip in his hand.
