....

Watching her family killed in one night, Marcia's heart is filled with revenge for the ones who were responsible. To save herself from her family's killers, she was forced to make a contract with a cold-blooded Alpha Fender.

Bringing her to his pack, Marcie realized she had signed a contract to hell. They were the Lycans, the werewolves sworn enemies, and Fender's brother, Alpha Leonidas, turned out to be her mate.

...

"She is yours now, but you have no idea of what tomorrow would be. I won't back down no matter what and I would get back what you have stolen from me," Leo vowed.

"And don't think I will stand still and watch you take her. She is mine and would be mine forever. I would love to see you try to claim her, but know this, that would be the greatest mistake of your life," Fender threatened.

There goes my World
Marcia's Pov 'Marcie, run and never look back. Go along the road through the forest. It would lead you to Fountain wolf pack. Never show yourself here!' Mom's words echoed in my ears as I was dragged back to the place she told me never to return to. I tried to escape, heavens knows I did, but I was just a little chick trying to run away from the hawks sorting my life. I struggled with them, but my strength was nothing compared to theirs. It was so easy to drag me out, that they used less strength, as if I was just a piece of paper. They pushed me back into the house where people were gathered. Our pack members. I recognized them and could see the scorn on their faces. My family were on their knees with their clothes torn and their faces bloodied. My gaze fell on my mother's and all I saw was disappointment. She wanted me to run but I failed her. Why would I escape alone? I can't leave my family behind. If I leave, then we will all leave together. I was roughly pushed to join them to kneel. "I told you to run, Marcie. Why didn't you listen to me?" Mother asked in a whisper, immediately I regained my balance. "I can't just leave you all. Besides, they caught up with me," I defended, which made her to bit her lower lips, not saying anything else. I averted my gaze at father, whose head was lowered. All I saw was guilt. He was feeling guilty which he shouldn't. It wasn't his fault in the first place. He was deceived by that strange man, Jax. I remember vividly the night when he came into our house. He was wounded and had lied he got beaten by a like wolf. He came in pretending to be a helpless man, and we had to help him and treat his wounds. I curse the day Jax was born. He made my family end up like this and for that, he will pay in a hundred fold. "We have all seen the outcome of betrayal from this family. We have all witnessed how they betrayed us," The voice of the Alpha, Felix, brought me out of my memory lane. "For what he did, his family would be punished severally!" The pack members began to chant, in agreement to what he said. "There is no greater punishment than death, and that's what their doom would be!" They all hailed again while I gasped. My mother shifted and dad began to cry. 'This is bad. My life can't end like that. This is a terrible punishment.' I panicked. "Please forgive me. This is all my fault," Father cried, daring not to look at us. "I will never forgive my self even in hell. I brought this upon my family. I did this to you all." It's not his fault. He was just been good but unfortunately, his good was reciprocated with evil. I lowered my head and allowed the tears welled in my eyes to flow down freely. It was my last day on earth. Never did I imagine I would die before my first transformation. Being hated by everyone, being killed as a punishment and our bodies would definitely be burnt into nothingness. We wouldn't have a proper burial. "This is not the end, so stop crying you two," Mother's voice forced me to lift my head. She leaned towards me and in a whisper, she assured. "We will leave here alive, but you need to promise to leave and never return. I and your father would find you." I drew my brows together trying to understand what she said. "Am I escaping alone?" She nodded, "But you won't be alone for long. We will be behind you. For now, everyone has to go their separate ways to find safety. If we all run together, it would be easy to get us." Well, she's right. The crowd were chanting loudly and not focused on what we were saying. The sword to be used for our execution was sharpened and the stone where we would lie was ready and waiting for us. "Marcel, I think it's time to show this people why you should have been the Alpha in the first place," Mother whispered to father who nodded and finally, curled up the corners of his lips into a small smile. What the hell was going on? Before I could register what was happening, father suddenly stood and roared out. His roar was so loud and mighty that it caused the earth to quake, bringing confusion to everyone. He broke his chains and started fighting off the warriors attacking. I have never seen father in his beastly form before. His strength and agility was next to none. All I saw was a strong wolf, ready to kill anyone for his family. It happened fast that all I did was stand, trying to understand what was going on. The crowd was thrown into chaos as father continued his rampage. I was still in total shock on what was going on, when I suddenly felt mother dragged me around to face her. "Leave now, Marcie! We will handle ourselves." She kissed my forehead and patted my cheek. "Go!" I nodded and ran off. I had no idea where I was running to, but all I knew was I needed to leave. To leave the pack and never return. I promised my parent and that I will do. Suddenly, a deafening cry, echoed so loud that it cause the ground to quake again. My feet froze and the world stopped. That voice! I knew who it came from. I allowed my body to move and I turned back, coming in contact with my worst nightmare. The sharp metal sound, slicing into his skin and pulling his head off from his body, echoed loud in my ears. I watched as my father's head fell to the ground and his lifeless body followed suit. My world came crashing down into pieces. The one who had the sword was none other than Felix. He was covered with my father's blood and not even his face was spared. Father was gone. He was gone forever. It all felt like a dream and I wanted to wake up from this terrible nightmare. They moved to my mother who was on her knees. I couldn't move. My feet were rooted to the ground. My body became a stone statue, lifeless and cold. Mother took her gaze to me and her eyes were telling me something. More like, screaming to me for help or telling me to leave, I just couldn't figure it out. The moon reflected on the cold, sharp metal before it got pushed into her heart, with the other edge coming out from her back. There goes my world. There goes my life! Her eyes were on me and a single tear dropped down to her chin. "Please live-" she mouthed inaudibly before she fell to the ground, dead. "Go after the daughter and bring her head to me!" Alpha Felix roared and the warriors all faced me. The next thing I felt was a sharp, excruciating pain in my leg as a bullet penetrated in.
