Dagney opened her eyes and pain ripped threw her, Her head was pounding she heard laughter around her. Where was keld she wondered, Where was she? She focused on the voices Sigruns voice he was talking to another man she turned her head and looked to them, He was guesturing tward her as he spoke. "We will hold her for randsome, Keld will give me Hedeby or we kill the girl". Dagney tried to find away to ecsape she had to she couldnt allow herself to be taken from her loved ones again. 

Dagney didnt know how long she had been in the woods Sigrun kept her blindfolded and gaged It felt like days. She heared the sticks break next to her as someone knelt beside her.

"what is your name?" he said as he removed the gag

"Dagney Daughter of King Rangvaldr, Wife of Earl Keld."

"Dagney the lost, ive heard of you I am Earl Sigrun I do apologise for not meeting with you and your husband i only wanted an audiance with your father and was not granted it."

Dagney thought back to the day she and Keld were called to the great hall by her father, When they arrived Earl Sigrun had already left angry that her father requested Keld be present. Days later Avaldsnes was attacked she ran out of her room to find Keld when she was hit from behind and woke in the woods after trying to ask question as to who they where and why she had been taken. They gaged her and blindfolded her so she waited for the gods to help her, Keld and her father to find her, or Sigrun to kill her.

"Why am i here,Why did you take me?"

"I want something of Kelds and this is how i will get it."

"We've only been married weeks, What makes you think he will give up Hedeby?"

"Because of who you are Dagney the Lost. You are daughter of the great King Rangvaldr. You mean more to him than you think"

"He will kill you, If my Father and Brother Olin dont get to you first."

"Your father and brother are a risk i am willing to take young one."

"the gods will curse you for what you are doing,you can not hide in the woods from the gods" she said softly. Unable to see the anger in his face Dani wasnt prepared for the impact of his hit accross her face.par

"Do not think you know the gods lost one, for the gods guide me and what i do."

"The gods have great plans for me, What plans do they have for you other than death? You will not drink with the gods in Vallahla" Bracing herself for another hit the screams rang in her ears, Kelds mighty growl filled the camp as he cut down everyone in his path. Dani felt herself getting dragged to her feet and the cold steal of a blade touching her neck. Sigrun pressed his head to hers protecting himself from an attack.par

"LET HER GO" Keld growled at Sigrun as he walked tward them the blade pressed harder into her neck. Dani let out a cry. 

"Now it seems i have the upper hand, Stop and drop your sword."

"I said let her go"

Sigrun pulled the blindfold from her face she blinked her eyes to focus on Keld. He was standing like Thor himself swords in both hands bodys layed all around his feet. She could see her brother Olin fighting with a man as he ran the other man threw with his sword he turned his attention tward Sigrun and walked in their direction fire in his eyes.

Dani knew she needed to do something she couldnt be used as bait. She looked at keld willing him to understand what she would do. His eyes connected with hers in that moment she kicked her foot back behind her right between his legs making him double forward with the moment the blade wasnt near her neck she threw her head back into his pain shot threw her as she threw her self tward the ground as Keld surrged forward catching her before she hit the rocks under her, Sigrun gained his footing and ran from Keld and Olin.

Helping her to her feet Keld looked at her neck where blood was falling it wasnt a deep cut it must have happened when Sigrun pulled the blade when she kicked him. Kelds eyes filled with such anger all she could do was press her body to his hoping he would calm and take her home.

"Find Sigrun" Keld barked at his men

"He wont get far we will find him but we need to get Dani home ill send a team of men to find him and bring him and any of his people back alive."

Keld nodded to Olin and wrapped his arms around her pulling her to him.
