Glimps into the Future
Looking out the window Rose stared at the breathtaking beautiful garden that was the view from the fifth floor room she resigned in. The garden was an enchanting sight flowers of all kinds with varying colors from pure white to deepest red of blood. From the window you could see the large fountain a statue of a couple in a forever loving embrace. There was no expense spared for the garden below. In fact everything around her was quite expensive; from the black silk sheets on the bed to the gold etchings on the wardrobe. It was still hard to believe even after all these years this was her life.
She didn't turn around when she heard the bedroom door open. She was secure in the knowledge of her safety in this dragons den. She felt arms slip around her waist and lips press to the side of her neck. She let all the tension leave her body as she relaxed against the strong chest. She had no fear of falling as long as his arms were around her.
"And where has MY beloved’s mind wander off to this fine afternoon." a silky smooth voice whispered in to her ear. Smiling at his reflection in the clear clean glass of the window. "Ah. Nowhere of importance" She said. His intense stare saying what he did not speak; when it came to her everything was important. Sigh she shook her head at her foolish husband. "I was just lost in thoughts of the past." she said with a soft smile. "Well don't let it wander to far. I would hate to have to chase you down again MY beloved." Chuckling she shook her head "It wasn't straying to that. And it will never again. I was just thinking of all the things that have brought me to this point."
He hummed as he pressed another possessive kiss to her neck. "There is a lot to think about. Don't get to lost in the past for it is the present that matter the most." he said his hand gently cupping her flat abdomen that would soon start to swell with the gift of their love. "I agree my sunshine. Why don't we go meet the others up for brunch. It been a while since everyone could meet up and enjoy each other company." He sigh "I rather have you all to myself but I guess I can share you with your sisters and the rest of the dragons." Shaking her head at his possessiveness she pressed a gentle kiss to his lips. And the she whispered in his ear a promise of a reward if he behaves for brunch. He smirked down at her and pick her up in his arms bridal style and carried her out the room to the dining room down stairs.
There left lying on the left bed stand laid a well-worn diary in it written the tells of their story and the past that defined her.
