Unfortunate wolf

Athena's POV 2 months ago my whole life got turned upside down. I got home from school and found out my parents had died. As I had no family left in California, I was forced to go and live with my mother's sister. I hated her. whenever I saw her she would always make some rude remark about my appearance, either my long red hair was too messy or my freckles were crowding my face. My father was the head worrier of the pack and my mother was a school teacher. Because of my father's position, I had a good life. I had lots of friends and never had any problems. When my parents died I not only had to move states but also had to move packs. my aunt or uncle didn't have a powerful role in their pack like my parents did but I didn't mind. Once I've moved in I was treated like a slave by every member of the pack, even ones I had never even spoken to before. This morning I was awake by my alarm signalling it was 5:30 I had to get up and make breakfast for the pack. I had a quick shower while everyone was still asleep. I quickly ran a comb through my long hair, ran downstairs and began making pancakes and cooking bacon and eggs. Not long after I had finished setting the table the pack started to filter into the dining room and take their seats. I quickly excused myself and went to my room if you could call it that. It was a tiny room with a small tattered rug in the centre that I slept on. I was excited as today I was starting school. the local school is called *mountain oak high school. It was located right between two territories so two different packs attended. Well, that's what I have heard anyway. I quickly gathered the school supplies that I had been given by the pack, mainly old pens that hardly worked and pencils that had no lead but I was thankful nonetheless. I ran out the door and made my way to the school. it was huge, bigger than the school in my old pack, then again did hold twice the amount of people. A girl came up to me and offered to help me. The first thing I noticed about her was her hair. it was blonde and fell just below her shoulders. She helped me to the office before running off and joining a group of people who looked like the popular kids. 'stay away from them, we don't need any more problems' my wolf said. I agreed and just turned around to speak to the woman in the office. James' POV I woke up to the smell of breakfast. As my parents are alpha and Luna of the pack and Im not the oldest I don't have many responsibilities. As I entered the kitchen I was quickly surrounded by girls trying to get my attention. I normally would have enjoyed all the attention, but the day I couldn't be bothered I push past them on went to sit with my mates Oliver, Alex and Nathaniel. Oliver, we call him Oli, has short blonde hair that was always gelled and brown eyes. this combination always attracted the girls, not that Oli minded. Alex had short brown hair that was messy but still looked good with light blue eyes. Nathaniel, or Nate, has shaggy brown hair and baby blue eyes. Nate had a younger sister. she was pretty hot with her shoulder-length blonde hair and brown eyes. her and made didn't look anything like each other but they defiantly fought like siblings. We quickly ate our breakfast and headed to school. It was our last year at this dreadful school. I hated the fact that we had to share a school with the red rose pack but I don't get a say. Once we got to school, Amelia pointed out a girl who seemed lost. She went over and pointed the direction of the office before coming back over to us. I couldn't take my eyes of the girl, granted I couldn't see much of her as she was wearing a hoodie that completely covered her face. but something drew me towards her. That's when my wolf spoke up 'shes your mate, dumbass'
