Chatper 10 - The new world

2070 Words
The walls were wooden, the floors too. The new home was way out in the woods. It was far off to 'Ordinarily strange' so the aliens would have to search and travel a long while to find them. It was a nice, comfy, cabin. Although, it was tiny. There were four bedrooms. So, two to a bedroom. "Oh, finally a real bed." Andy sighed, falling into the covers. It was a small room. Lily sat the bags against the wall by her bed. She shared a room with Andy. Cherry, Angelica to a room, Zane, Jax, lastly Nixon and Blade. "No. Just. No." Zane shook his head. "This...this can't be happening." He glared at Jax kicking his shoes off, the room stinking off his feet. He tossed his shirt off and laid down. "It looks like it is." Jax frowned. "Look, I want nothing more than to smash your brains. I don't like this room arrangement either." "Hmph." Zane put his s**t away then left to the living room. He couldn't stand the atmosphere. It was too thick, not just that but Jax's feet reeked. "Not happy I see." Angelica startled him from behind the kitchen counter. "You can tell?" He smirked sarcastically. "Well, it's not hard with that scowl on your face, or is that always there?" She smirked back. "Yeah, yeah. I get that all the time." He shrugged it off, surprised by Angelica's humor. He didn't think she had any. Maybe she was too shy to show it. Does that mean she is finally learning to open up? "Seems you two are still up. Get some rest, you'll need it." Blade leaned against the wall and the doorway to the kitchen. He knew exactly what he did. Putting Zane and Jax together. Maybe they'll make up. Oh, what is he kidding even though he hates Jax's guts, he's a douche-bag. What was he thinking bringing him onto this team? He wasn't. But...he knew Jax was skilled with guns, survival, and he was a competitor hunter which is very useful. Oh, well, he'll have to put him back in his place if he steps out of line. Can't have the team dividing. He needs them all to stay together. It's the end of the f*****g world and he knew it. But did any of them? ... "Man, can't you just take his place?" Jax whined, pulling Cherry into his arms. "No, I have to go, he's gonna be back ya know." Cherry shrugged his arms off, wanting to stay but had to go. They looked at one another for a second, a lust growing in the air between them. He's just a boy toy, Cherry told herself. They hadn't done anything but the chemistry was growing. How long until they do? She promised herself, her best friends she wouldn't get with another douche bag. Why do all the dickheads have to be so hot? She just wanted to die in a hole. "Gross. I'm sleeping on the couch." Zane slammed the door. "Well there you go, problem solved," Jax smirked, yanking her back onto the bed. "Now, I'm tired. You're making it hard to sleep." He said, peering down at the tank top falling off her shoulder, no bra, and no pants. "Oh." She noticed it too. She wasn't planning on sleeping in the same room as him, a guy. It didn't matter if she'd been sleeping with Angelica. But now she wished she wore something less flashy. s**t. ... Aliens. Aliens. Aliens. Lily fell into a deep slumber; her last thought was aliens. "I want you, Lily Valerie." Huh? Who is this? A blood-curdling scream filled the silence, she could make out of only a torso, but that was it. A bloody torso laying on the icy, cracked tile floor of the spaceship. Wait, spaceship? Two tall forms were standing in the doorway, smiling. A set of razor-sharp teeth, acid seeping out onto the floor causing holes in the floor. Drip. Drip. Drip. Bloodstained her skin. It was coming from the top of the ship. She looked up to see a body hanging there, lifeless, blood, red and swinging back and forth from the movement of the ship. It was a child. She looked just thirteen. A little girl. How cruel is that? "What the f**k do you want?" She growled through her clenched teeth. She wanted to bite their heads off. She knew these aliens were monsters. They don't want peace. They want death, to kill just for the heck of it. Bastards. "We want you, Lily. We want you." Goosebumps formed on her bare legs and arms. She wasn't clothed. What the hell happened to her clothes? Were they humiliating her now? Was she gonna die like that boy she saw last time? What did they want from her? She folded her arms over her breast, trying to cover up as much as possible. "Where are my clothes?" They laughed at an evil one. "You won't be needing those." The green-eyed alien said, stepping out of the shadows. "What!? Yes, I will." She argued, enraged. "They'll be ruined once you transform. Lily, you are special. Follow the purple light, Lily, follow it and you'll find out more." The white-eyed alien responded this time. "But....the fuck..." It was cold, the ship kept shifting, and she had to pee so badly. Oh no. She'll wet herself. Where is the bathroom? Wait, isn't this a dream. s**t. "I'm not wetting the bed!" She huffed. Tossing the blankets off, Andy woke up on the other bed next to her with a-what-the-actual-f**k expression caked on her sleepy face. "What are you doing?" She groggily asked, rubbing the sleep dust off her eyes. "It's....six in the morning..yo...Lily." "Ugh, I'm wetting myself, duh!" She ran out in a burst of energy making it to the bathroom, barely in time. She finished washing her hands and went to the kitchen. She couldn't possibly go back to sleep after that dream. "Oh, so you must've had a good wet dream to stir up this early, eh?" Andy winked, gulping down her second cup of coffee. "No, it was a nightmare." She was immune to Andy's bad jokes and teasing or at least almost immune to it. Sometimes it just got annoying. "Oh, one of those. What scared the s**t outta you more than for you to piss yourself." "I didn't 'almost' and I just had to go, okay?" Lily sighed. "It...it's nothing." "It must be-" Blade walked into the room. "Am I interrupting something here?" He chuckled. "Yes, in fact, you are, good sir. Lily here was scared shitless and almost pissed herself. She needs extra comfort now." Andy explained, in a sarcastic serious manner. "She's all yours." She mumbles to him on the way out. She turned to Lily giving her a quick wink and thumbs up 'good luck' she smirked. Andy, you will die after this. She felt her cheeks instantly burn red. How embarrassing. Blade heard she almost 'pissed' herself. "I'm fine. Andy was just joking around being her usual stupid self." "Is that so?" He smirked, watching her expression closely. She was so cute when embarrassed. "Yes, now can we get on with the pressing matters, please?" She bit her lip, holding back her frustrations. She wanted to kill all of them. The aliens took her clothes, tormented people. Dream or not. It had to be real. But why was she the only one seeing these dreams? "Don't do that." "What?" She looked up, he was a lot closer now. "Biting your lip. What's on your mind?" "Uhm.....n-nothing. Why do you want to know?" "Because I'm worried." He sighed. "Lily, I know you know something. Did you have another nightmare? Don't hide stuff from me, okay?" "Okay. Yes." She bites her lips harder, hating this. She didn't want to talk about it, she wanted to pretend this all was one big f*****g nightmare, but it wasn't. She felt warm fingers brush her lips preventing her from chewing on them. "I told you not to do that." He warned the air thickening. "You'll make them sore." "Maybe that's what I want. I want...to hurt, okay?" She snapped. She wished she bit her f*****g tongue so hard it'd bled. Blade did nothing wrong. He was worrying for her. He was too kind. No time to get her hair in knots, and start crying about this crappy situation. Stop stressing, it won't help. "No, it isn't. I know, trust me. You want to forget. Life isn't fair, Lily. I'd know that." He said, his hands on her waist, pulling her into a tight comforting hug. She relaxed in his warm embrace, feeling guilty. Of course, he'd know. What was she thinking being so inconsiderate of others? His father was dead for crying out loud. "Sorry..." She whispered, placing her head on his chest, she could hear his heartbeat, it was fast. Was he nervous? "No, need to be. It's okay. We'll be okay. We have to be ready to kill those aliens. We'll get them, alright?" He pumped his fist up, proudly making a silent promise. That they'd kill them all. After all, he did make the same promise to his father, now he had to go on it. "Yeah, we will kill them all. I'll be kicking the most butt." Andy butted her head in, smirking. "What? Why do you two look so surprised?" "Were you here the whole time, Andy?" Lily asked, hiding her blush. She parted from the hug regretting it. She missed the warmth. But I ignored it. "Yes, what is this kitchen only for the two of you?" "Hahaha, funny." Lily beamed. "Anyway, what's today's plans for killing aliens?" "Well, we need to have another discussion on how we will be living from now on. What's going on, and what do we all need to do? Everyone will have an important job." He said, all business-like. That was the Blade she has learned to know for the past weeks. "Uhh, before that can we eat?" Zane poked his head out from the hallway, shirtless, in boxers with kittens on them. "Damn, bad boy, who likes kittens, what a joke." Jax laughed, pushing past Zane who met his gaze with a glare. "Shut up, superman fangirl." Zane pointed out his superman boxers. "Oh, you two cut it out." Cherry yawned, in her tank top, and panties. Her top was skin tight, her n*****s poked out, she wasn't wearing a bra. "Put some clothes on. Jesus!" Jax scolded, covering her body from everyone's eyes. "Okay, you didn't care last night." She hissed, stomping off angrily. "That's because I'm not the only guy here." He yanked her arm, taking her back to the room, like a little kid in trouble. Everyone stayed in the kitchen waiting in the awkward silence for those two to return. "Zane, go check on them. We have a meeting. For now, I can make breakfast. So, everyone can eat plenty." Blade waved him off. "Okay, fine." Zane went to get the two. .. "Stop being so rough with me, asshat!" She whined, ripping his death grip from her arm. It left her skin red. But it wasn't anything bad. "You didn't seem to mind last night." He used her own words against her. "Whatever, I'm hungry." She slammed her lips on his, shoving him into the closet. They both started a heated makeout session. Cherry was on top of him sucking the skin of his neck, he pulled her closer kissing all over her face down to her neck and shoulder. "S-stop. We need to go before-" Cherry tore his lips away from hers too late. Zane walked in for the second time. He saw Cherry straddling Jax on the floor of the closet. Jax had on obvious member sticking up, and Cherry's face was flushed. He just had to walk in on the worst moment, ever. "Ew, I'd say get a room, but this is my room too ya know. At least, put a f*****g sign on the door or something. I'm gonna puke now." He slammed the door, the second time doing it. "Well, at least now everyone will know you're mine." Jax laughed. "I'm not. You are just my pet, alright. Or whatever this is, is over, okay?" She ran out, leaving Jax speechless. A pet. He was a f*****g pet to her?
