The Man and The Lion

This is one of the most amazing Lion story for kids to read. Long long time ago,a man and lion are good friends.Once they chanced to travel in a company through the forest. In between the talks, there was an argument between them. For each of them boasted that he and his kind were far superior to the other both in strength and mind. The Man declared that human beings were more powerful than lions.To prove his statement the Man took the lion to a statue nearby. It depicted a man standing over a lion after subdiving it. It was the representation of Heracles in the act of tearing the jaes of the Nemean Lion. The Man said; "Look at this statue , that's how strong we are. The king of Beasts is like wax in our hands." Hearing this, the Lion asked him who made this statue. The Man replied ,"it was made by a sculpture, the man who make sculptures. "Ho! Laughed the lion and said "a man made that statue, if a lion should make the statue it would be quite the opposite of this one." A lion would stand over a man after subdiving him. The moral in the story is that A person looks things through his own stand point. It all depends on the point of view and who tells the story. Always trust your own wit and try judge the circumstances
