Unable to hide his rage, Tim Sullivan stood at the window of his room and fumed at his roommate’s incredible stupidity. The arguing and shouting had caused his voice to become hoarse and raspy. Angrier than he could remember, he forced himself to look away as Paul packed. Tim stared out the window in the direction of the golf course.
The leaves on the trees surrounding the course had grown the full complement of spring regeneration. The fairways looked lush and well maintained. Normally, Tim appreciated the ambiance. Today he barely noticed.
