Chapter 15

~Marcus~

Me and Oliver was in the relative room sitting, waiting to hear news from my mom.....well Oliver was sitting, I was pacing back and fourth "dude, would you stop? You're making me dizzy and nervous just watching you. I understand why you're scared , but you're mom has the best surgeons and doctors in the country. It's maybe slim, but if there's any chance AJ has of surviving, this hospital is the best chance she'll have" Oliver said rubbing his eyes, I've been pacing since I arrived which was about 2 hours ago "I know dude, I've only just got her back in my life, I can't lose her now. At least not this way, not today" I replied just then Oliver's phone dinged, but he ignored it as he carried on "I get it dude, she means a lot to you, and to be honest, she means a lot to me too. I know I've not known her as long as you, but the few weeks I have known her have been awesome. She's an awesome chic, you gotta have hope and faith in her dude" Oliver said, I've no answer to that so I carry on pacing but picked up speed.

Just then Tyra came in and walks to me and Oliver, then sits down next to Oliver. Tyra is in the band as well she plays keyboard and sings, Tyra is the sweetest of all, she does anything for anyone, nothing is ever too much, so when I messaged her she came to support us. If she gives you her friendship you don't let go of it, she is so understanding, forgiving and openminded, you could kill someone but she'll still look for the good in you. As she sits down next to Oliver she says "come on Marcus, sit down mate. Oliver and I are here for you, I'd love to meet this friend of yours" I stop midpace "she is amazing" I say, then I turn and look at my 2 friends for Oliver to say "she doesn't wait for karma" "she doesn't have to" I add on "she is karma" Oliver finishes to which I let our a slight chuckle, Tyra then asks "so how long have you guys known her?" "I've known her for about 5ish weeks, but it feels like I've known her forever, it has been amazing hangin with her" Oliver answers, Tyra then her attention to me "what about you Marcus? How long have you known her?" Tyra asks, clear that she's trying to take my mind off the situation so I'd relax, but I just can't. I look at Tyra and answer her question "since we were in school, I went the same school as her" "wow! So a few years then?" Tyra again with questions, I appreciate what she's trying to do but it is highly annoying when you're not in the mood for it, so I just shrug "something like that" I reply.

The thing with Tyra is she tends to be quite quiet and shy, unless she's nervous but trying to hide it then she can talk for America. So she carries on "can't wait to meet her, what's her name?" Tyra asks "Crystal, her name is Crystal" I reply, before she could talk anymore Oliver got a text, talk about saved by the bell. "Who's texting?" Tyra asks "Michael, he said Dylan's in pretty bad shape but should survive" just then Tyra received a text, she reads it out "Dylan is in pretty bad shape along with his pride which is non existing right now, just like his pride he's damaged pretty bad" it sounds bad but it gives me some peace of mind that Dylan didn't get off easy, at least Azura got to give him a taste of punishment, bet it ain't so good to him knowing he got beat up by a girl, ok that makes me chuckle inside. Relieved Dylan ain't got off without a scrape but still concerned over my best friend Azura, I hate not being in control and not knowing. I sit in between my 2 amazing friends while waiting for an update on Azura "I honestly couldn't care less about Dylan right now" I say sighing, then Oliver agreed which I never thought he would because him and Dylan are pretty tight "me neither to be honest, I just want Crystal to be ok" I guess Azura made a bigger impact on Oliver than I first thought "I'm sure she'll be fine guys" Tyra says softly trying to comfort me and Oliver who are on edge a bit, then Oliver rests his chin on his hands, I cover my face with my hands and Tyra clasps her hands together and looks up.

~Michael~

Me and my twin brother Lucas walk out of the town's general hospital and start talking Lucas id first to speak "well, from the broken bones and needing operations to try and reverse the damage that the chick caused to major organs, I'd say the chic that Dylan tried to attack deffo won that, also I think she made him look better" my brother can be quite funny at times, but I agree with him "Can't disagree there bro" I chuckle then the pair of us break out into laughter.

Myself, other doctors, nurses and the top surgeons are all operating on this girl Crystal, now me and Jennifer Benson are good friends, have been since med school so when she said this girl Crystal was very dear like a 2nd daughter to her I was surprised, as she's never mentioned her before but she always goes on about a girl called Azura Jenson, so I was confused but non the less I am listening to what my boss and friend Jennifer says, so it's nothing but the best for this poor girl who has came in such a bad state.

As we're all working as hard as we can on Crystal I suddenly hear one of the surgeons say "crap, we're losing her" I won't accept that "we can't lose her, boss will have our heads" I say panicking slightly as I promised Jennifer I'd do my best to try and help this girl, but then to make matters worse, another nurse exclaims "we ran out of blood for her" so now the panic starts to begin, thinking that the storage is still got more blood in I try to steady myself and not panic I call out "well get some then, it's not rocket science, we can't lose her" and I weren't wrong it isn't rocket science you run out of blood, you go to storage and get more. Another nurse then says "she means we're out" getting frustrated I snap back "and I meant get some, there's loads of blood in storage" which I honestly did think we had only for another nurse to explain "she's O- and we have none left" then it hit me.

There's no O- blood in the hospital, and you can't give an O- anything else or it could be deadly f**k I scream internally realising we could lose this girl and upset Jennifer but worst I'd be breaking my promise to Jennifer and there's nothing worse than a broken promise.
