Chapter #2 - The Past

When he sees Mason they both shake hands and Mason says,

“ It’s been a long time Dave. “

Dave replies,

“ Yeah sure it’s been let’s go somewhere else “

They both stop by at the coffee house and both starts talking about.

Dave says,

“ Hey man, Thanks for everything you did a lot of favours for me in the past and still you are doing this for me it’s means a lot to me “

Mason replies,

“ Don’t overreact besides why didn’t you contact me through out the period it’s been 16 years since we all separated we promised each other to take care of each and will be in touch then why. “

Dave replies,

“ I don’t know I was disturbed about my past I just don’t want to remember that night when everything changed. “

Mason replies,

“ what happened that night wasn’t important what we have that’s important and you have us. “

“ May be you are right man, Anyways How is your life going. “

Mason says,

“ Yeah I have been working in a company I had a 9 year old son who is everything to me here is his picture. “

Mason shows his sons picture from his wallet and Dave says,

“ 10 years ago I met her in the church she was religious and pretty I approached her and I found out she has the same feeling for me also, for few months we started to date each other then decided to get married and one day I was working she calls me and says congratulations we gonna have a new family member and I was like wait a second what? And that was the happiest day of my life believe me. “

“ She was ill during her pregnancy doctors asked her for abortion but she denied them and wanted to have this child and in her delivery hours she looked at me and says remember Mason no matter what happened I will love you always “

They both gets up and head back home. In home Juli cooks delicious dinner for Mason and Dave. The all sits down on the chairs to eat dinner and have jokes around after having that Mason gets up to wash his hands after washing his hands, he saw a room which has cartoon drawn on the door then he heads there to see the room . He opens the room he founds out the room looks like a child’s room with toys around everywhere. Then he looks behind him and sees Dave standing there and watching him, Mason says,

“ Sorry! I was just wondering around “

“ It’s okay no problem at all you will be wondering I don’t have kids then this room is here.Its because I wanted to have one I wanted to give everything to my child the things I could never had in my childhood but I couldn’t! Dave and Mason both left the room and go outside to sit in the lawn. Mason sees Dave and says,

After watching his house Dave asks,

Dave laughs and ask,

“ so what are you doing now “

One day as my routine I broke the store glass to steal food but there were people inside the shop hiding behind the counter soon as I saw them I start running but they were to many and they caught me and brought me to a man known as Vladimir Lem he was a mafia lord man and he saw me and after looking me, he took me in his group and said

“ You are a quite unique boy aren’t yah “

He took me inside his mob group and gave me shelter food, teaches me how to use guns and stuffs by the time I became young I became his left hand and I did lots of terrible things for him killing innocent men extortion ,protection money, lots of thing and by then I became the best gun holder in America. Vlad always treats me like his son, we always eats food together exchange our feelings but 3 years later he got cancer and was on his last stage and in his last hours he looked into my eyes and says,

They both gets up from the pool and went back to sleep .
