Tierney

The last month has been nothing less then perfect Aleda and Cody do their thing and Eddy And I do ours. To the public eye we are switched couples but alone I have Eddy and that's all I wanted.

Today is the final big competition before Nationals. We are in salt lake City I head for my run Mal is acting off as we get to the entrance something feels wrong but I can't pull out now. They call my name and she starts running I feel it as we make the last turn her leg almost gives out I jump off when we are done checking my horse quickly. Grace runs down beside me " Is she okay what happened?"

" Her shoe slipped it's like...."

She looks and gulps " Who has been around her?"

I shrug " Just the stable men I know of but Callus would never do this she could have broke a leg or...."

" Or got you out of your competition hmm I wonder why someone would want that?"

I turn fuming " Ash! are you f.ucking kidding me!"

"You f***k with my horse I f***k with your's"

" Excuse me the only thing I have done for your horse is help him and give him protein Nibs because you don't take care of him!"

" No last week in Billings I saw you f.ucking with his hoof"

" Because he had a rock in it you moron I would never deliberately hurt a horse! or try to sabotage someone!"

" Tierney it's fine I know a farier in the area we will get her fixed up"

" I don't think I have time it could take hours and there's no telling if that damaged her leg.... I think we are done Grace"

She shakes her head at me " No way your making it to nationals trust me this guy is a horse whisperer let's just get Mal to your trailer"

I nod and she makes a call as we walk her slowly to the trailer " Tierney"

I turn and sigh seeing Eddrin Cody beside him " Hey what happened?"

" Ashlyn James tried to sabotage Maleficent I have a friend coming"

They both sigh and Eddrin rubs Mal "Is she okay?"

"She is fine son we just need to get her back to running stature"

He nods looking at me " You okay?'

I nod " Spooked but fine I have to get the next two runs up if I ha e any chance of making an impact."

" You will be fine Babe" I nod at Cody's words

" Babe? didn't I say no distractions little girl and definitely no bull riders!"

I smile running in my dad's arms and he hugs me tightly " Hey little bear"

I look up at him " What are you doing here?"

" Your mom and I are on the way to Vegas for Nationals to see our girls take it all"

" I'm sorry did you say you and mom like together?"

" Yes he did"

I turn hugging my mom and she smiles "Let's get Mal back on her feet I brought her some bananas in the truck go grab them little bear"

I nod walking off as they work on Mal I come back feeding her some Bananas and Grace smiles as she helps " I need to go they just started rides"She walks off

I sigh after a few minutes looking over at my mom and she rolls her eyes " Yeah yeah just go"

I smile and run off veering to the pits I pull Eddy to the shallows and he sighs kissing me " You okay Princess?"

I nod kissing him again " I know your mind is haywire I'm fine Mal is fine okay?"

He nods picking me up kissing me hard " Good as long as my girls are okay"

I smile kissing him again" No excuses Mr"

" Yes Princess"

He sets me down and I sneak off running up to the stands watching him and Cody ride then Aleda and I head back to Mal getting her ready for our next run. She does amazing getting us a 9.7 and a 9.6.

We all head out going to eat and then our hotel, I curl up in Eddy's chest content on the day we both got first and I get him at the end.

" Eddrin?"

He rubs my back softly " Yes Princess"

" What's going to happen?"

" With what?"

I look up at him "With us we have one more week then I go back home to school and you go back 1000 miles away from me and...."

" I'm not going anywhere Tierney no matter how much distance is between us got it?"

I sigh nodding " I'm just scared what if you find someone else someone..."

He kisses me hard rolling me to the bed as he hovers over me " There will never be anyone else Princess there will be no other girl that can make me feel the way you do. That can irritate excite and intrigue me all at the same time there will never....."

I kiss him cutting him off " I'm in love with you Eddrin"

He kisses me again moving as he pushes to my puddling core. Our bodies move together effortlessly and I moan he moves to my ear " I'm in love with you Tierney Jade"

I moan falling asleep those words sink in to my very being.

I didn't start this summer out looking to fall in love let alone falling for Eddrin. Harlow of all people.

Three days later

I jump from the bed running to the bathroom puking my guts out. I sigh sitting by the toilet when I am done. I hear a knock " Tierney hunny you okay?"

" Yeah mom I'm fine just elevation sickness"

" Okay I have some Nausea medicine for you"

I sigh getting up and opening the door. I have been sick since we left Salt Lake it sort of sucks.

Today is preliminaries for finals I need to keep it together for the next three days no matter how I feel.

I take the medicine brushing my teeth and get in the shower. His familiar arms wrap around me as I lay my head against the wall he leans down kissing the top of my head. " You okay?"

I nod and he sighs " I don't want you out there if your not feeling well baby"

" I'm fine I just need to eat"

" Alright but no dairy it's making you sick"

I groan chocolate milk has been my weakness lately. We go eat with everyone then we all head to the arena. I make my run and by the time I am done I can hardly see I get off Mal leaning to the side.

" You okay?"

I nod at Nayla " Yeah just got dizzy"

She giggles " I get that first time I rode after I had Paxton it was super dizziness"

I look up at her " What about with Paxton?"

" Same thing I mean worse because of the morning sickness"

I gulp " What did you do?"

She shrugs " I had to quit being dizzy like that isn't good for a fetus"

I sigh " I just have acclamation sickness"

She laughs " funny that's what I said"

I grab Mal taking her to the stables my mind in a whirlwind I mean could I be? Eddy and I have never used protection and I have such a crazy period with the Depo shot I never know if I will get it or not.

" Hey girl"

I turn to Aleda " I need a favor"

" Okay what's up?"

I gulp " I um I need you to go get a pregnancy test for me"

" And why would you need that?"

I turn to Grace wide eyed " Tell me is it Cody's?"

" Well of course..." I stop Aleda as she is nervously trying to get words out and look back at Grace

" How long have you known?"

"Since Salt Lake I couldn't sleep so I came to check on you kids in the middle of the night"

" And you didn't freak?"

She laughs " Why the hell would I?.. I mean no offense Aleda you're a sweet girl but I have always been against you and my son"

I sigh " I need to get a test"

She nods " We will go after the guys ride how sure are you that is your problem?"

I sigh " When I think about it pretty sure"

" If you are Tierney you may not be able to make the last two rides"

I nod " I know"

" However I learned a few tricks when I found out with Eddrin I think I can get you through it if you want"

I nod and she smiles linking her arm around mine and we go back to the stands
