I have been sitting in here for hours I have taken all 6 test we bought and I can't take my eyes off that one little word.
I can't help but cry I want to scream I'm so close to finals I can taste it not only does this put a damper on my plan but what is Eddy going to say.. I mean I have to tell him don't I?"
Aleda knocks on the bathroom door again " Hey brought you dinner Eddrin is worried about you.... Are you okay?"
I clear my throat " Umm yeah can you go get Grace please"
" Yeah sure"
I hear another knock the bedroom door just shut " Baby are you okay?"
" You need to go Eddy"
He sighs and I hear him closer to the door " Princess please open the door"
" No... Just go Eddrin"
" Please tell me what's going on"
I sigh wiping my tears " I can't I just... I need you to go just leave me alone"
He sighs and I hear the door again " Tierney?"
I open the door for Grace and lock it behind her waving to the tests on the counter she starts picking them up all of them a pink little plus sign . I hand her the digital test
" What am I going to do Grace"
" Have you told him?"
I shake my head " I don't think I should what if it distracts him?"
" So what are we doing?"
I sigh wiping my tears " I'm gonna need those tricks and um... I think I should stay with my parents tonight"
She sighs " You need to tell him Tierney"
" No... not right now he needs to focus I can't tell him and I can't tell my parents I have to get through finals I will tell him then"
She sighs nodding I pick all the tests up and go grab my stuff. I hear the connecting door... " Oh shit... Mom what are you..."
She shakes her head " Tierney is going to stay with her parents the better question is what are you doing in here?"
He looks at me " Are you okay?"
I nod as my tears fall " It's over Eddy she knows"
" Good then she knows your not going anywhere"
" I'm going to stay with my parents"
" The hell you are Semi are tomorrow and your just going to leave?"
" I will be at Semi but.... I don't think we should be around each other"
He goes wide eyed " Princess what the hell are you saying?"
I sigh trying not to break down " We're over Eddrin...."
" No I refuse to accept that!" He grabs me wrapping his arms around me. He leans his head to mine I am about to break " Tell me what's wrong"
I sigh closing my eyes " I can't... I just I need to go please"
" Baby"
I sigh moving to his chest as the tears fall from my eyes " Tierney baby don't do this"
" You don't understand Eddy I have to"
He sighs kissing my head " I'm not letting you go baby girl... go spend the night with your parents but whatever is happening Princess whatever is bugging you we will work it out I promise we will"
I sigh hugging him tighter " I don't know about that"
I move grabbing my bags and head out I lay down on the sofa bed in my parents room silently crying myself to sleep.
The next morning I get up and get ready for Semi we head there and Grace meets me at the shoots " Here auntie dizzy meds Nausea medicine. and a pillow"
I look at her as she holds a small pillow " Put it in your pants it will make it where you don't Josel the baby so much"
i nod doing as she says and make my run I have two today and this one was complete shit... After my run I spend time with Mal in the stables and head to the corner of the bleachers to watch Eddrin ride... He gets bucked I have never seen him not last the full 8 and it worries me..... He walks off cussing I sigh walking back to the stables.
" Please just tell me what I did?"
I turn to him " you didn't do anything it was me okay just go"
I turn back to Mal I hear the gate and feel his all too familiar arms around my waist..." Please baby I can't focus I need to know what's happening"
" It doesn't matter Eddrin just go!"
I move from him " Gahd damnit Tierney what the hell happened did my mom say something??.... seriously tell me what the hell happened please....!"
" Just go!"
He comes around to face me " Damnit Tierney I can't fix it if I don't know what is wrong!"
" I don't need you to fix it.... you can't fix it just go"
" Jeezus what could be so damn bad your parents I don't give a s**t what they say Tierney I'm not going to let you go I am not....."
" IM PREGNANT!"
I slap my hand over my mouth and he is standing there stunned " You... you sure?"
I nod breathing heavily " All 6 test"
" f***k" He lunges picking me up
I giggle as he spins me around " Eddy stop your going to make me dizzy"
He chuckles stopping and I wrap around him he leans his head to mine " Geezus baby girl did you think I would be mad?"
I sigh nodding " Um yeah sort of... I thought it would distract you and..."
He kisses me hard " What distracts me is not having my lucky charm.... Princess I love you"
I sigh kissing him again " I'm sorry it's just I know you dont want this and..."
He sits me down moving away he leans down kissing my stomach rubbing it " I love you and I love your mommy and I am never letting either of you go little man"
I giggle " And just how do you know we are having a boy?"
He chuckles moving back to me " Because I'm daddy and daddy knows"
I giggle kissing him " I love you"
He smiles " I love you.... Should you um should you be riding?"
" Your mom is helping me keep the motion sickness under control...."
He sighs " Don't ever try to leave me again Tierney Jade... I'm nothing without you"
He kisses me again and I melt into everything that is Eddrin Harlow.
Someone clears their throat and we turn " How you feeling?"
I nod at Grace" I'm okay... Hungry"
" Well runs are in 30 I brought you more nausea medicine you can eat some crackers and maybe some ginger ale"
Eddrin kisses my head " I'll go get it"
I groan "I want a chili dog"
He chuckles " Not until after your ride... and that is definitely my kid"
I giggle and he kisses my head walking off I have a good run and then get Mal put up and head to the stands. I sit beside Grace and Ron my mom looks at me " you okay? your first run was sort of rough"
I nod " I'm fine just had a rough morning and I'm a little tired"
" Your mom and I didn't keep you up did we?"
I scrunch my nose " Ewwe I had my headphones in but on that note I. sleeping in my room tonight"
Eddrin walks up handing me a chili dog " Here extra onion"
I smile grabbing it from him quickly He sits beside me as the team riders do their thing I down the chilidog and he chuckles. I lay my head on his shoulder falling asleep.
"Baby girl"
I groan turning" Baby girl I have to go do my ride"
I move pouting he smiles kissing me " I love you I will see you in a few minutes"
I nod kissing him back softly "I love you and I better get my goal"
"Whatever you say Princess"
I sigh sitting up rubbing my eyes " And exactly how long has that been going on?"
I turn finally alert and see Ron staring at me I look around for my parents " I sent them for soda Tierney"
I sigh sitting back " I'm going to be so dead"
Grace laughs " No not with my grandbaby but I do want you to move closer if not with Eddrin then at least in one of the guest houses on our property"
I laugh " Exactly why wouldn't I move in with Eddy I mean it's not like we can do much worse"
She shrugs " True... but I have seen that look I. a Harlow man before nothing but good will be born from this"
" I'm sorry Graceline did you just say grandbaby and what the hell do you mean by that! She is with Cody,!"
She turns to him kissing him softly " Her parents are right there just keep quiet I will explain after"
He sighs " This better be good"
