Andrew stood outside Luna’s house, rain trickling down his face, his hands balled into fists at his sides. The dim porch light cast his shadow across the wet pavement, flickering slightly as the wind howled through the empty streets. She was inside. He knew it. She had been ignoring his calls, shutting him out completely. But he couldn’t let her spiral into this alone. Taking a deep breath, he knocked. Silence.
