Lucas pulled up to the house, gripping the steering wheel so hard his knuckles turned white. The moment he saw the darkened windows, his gut twisted with unease. Something felt off. He killed the engine and stepped out into the cold night air. The house was locked, silent, almost lifeless. Where the hell is she? Lucas took the steps two at a time, rapping his knuckles hard against the wooden door. "Luna!" he called out, his voice echoing through the empty street. No answer.
