As Lucas walked toward his car, he couldn’t shake the feeling of relief that washed over him. The town was finally safe, and for the first time in a long while, Luna would no longer be in danger. Yet, despite the weight lifting off his shoulders, he couldn’t help but notice the sadness in his sister’s eyes.
