Sophia sat in her dimly lit cabin, her eyes fixed on a small note in her trembling hands. The world outside the window seemed eerily still, as if it too held its breath in anticipation of the next move. The air in the room was heavy with tension, the silence only broken by the occasional creak of her chair as she shifted uncomfortably.
