Summer could hear Madison calling to her, but the world seemed to be spinning and she couldn't open her eyes, no matter how hard she tried. Everything just felt so far away. Maddox gently moved Madison away from her mother. “Careful, she's really hurt. We're going to have to take her to the hospital.” As if in answer to his thoughts, Maddox heard sirens coming in the distance.
