Maddox didn't know how long he had been out. Before the world went black, he felt the force of the explosion hurl him against the wall, everything had shook as debris rained down around him, then he was out cold. As he awoke, he tried to look around, but the hallway was choked in dust, making it impossible to see. Compounding the problem was the weight pushing down on him - part of the roof had definitely landed on him. He wiggled his body, testing for broken bones.
