In a beautiful and abundant kingdom of the west, lies a beautiful palace that was sorrounded to by verdant green grass and a wall of fortress. It was the only palace that was standing atop of the mountain where clear azure sky can be reach, field of tulips and wild flowers can be seen, icy mountains from afar, river softly flows, thus most of all the bustling city of Creious down the hill are crystally visible from the palace.
Inside the busy palace was maids hustling on their own respective chores, knights standing side by side like a statue who's protecting and securing the place, and the royalties who's having fun chewing their dinner.
"So, Elysia." the king broke the silence as he raised his head and looked at the woman, who's silently sitting from the left side of the table beside the queen.
"Yes, father?" she responded and raised her head.
"I heard from the maids that you're riding a horse again?" the King states and looked at her with a questioning look. The woman just bit her lips not be able to talk.
"Your Highness, I think that was just a false base rumor. How could the princess do that? That's way to indignant as a royal!" the Queen reacted and throw a meaningful look at the princess beside her. The King scoffed after hearing the Queen's statement.
"Rumor? How could that be a false base rumor when one of the seneschal's in this palace saw her riding that black and white horse around the horse stables." The King aggressively stated and looked sharply at the princess who bit her lower lip to avoid saying any further words.
"Elysia! Tell your father immediately that it was all not true." the Queen demanded. The woman just raised her face and look at the King directly.
"What's wrong with riding a horse, Father?" instead of admitting the truth, she chose to spoke those words infront of the King's face.
"How presumptuous of you to talk to me like that boldly!" the King aggressively reacted and his face turns red in just a seconds.
"Elysia! Mind your manners." the Queen reminded her with a daring voice.
"What? You all wanted me to act like a good girl when the truth is you all treated me like I'm a black sheep. What's the point of pretending?" she exclaims and stands up from the long mess hall. The Queen and King raised their head to looked at her rebellious attitude.
"I didn't raised you to become this kind of rebellious girl, Elysia!" the king's voice echoed in the whole dining hall inside the palace. His faced is burning red due to the fury and aggressiveness he shows.
"Elysia! Say sorry to your father and bow down your head." the queen demanded to her and gave her a authoritative look but she didn't barge.
"I'm sorry but I don't think I can do that right now mother. I'm way too disappointed because of the strictness you all are showing towards me and it's too suffocating. I only want my freedom, I'm already twenty." she lowly said with a low voice but her eyes is burning fiery like a furnace. After she said those words, she turns her back at the mess hall and walk straight towards the exit area. She even heard the King cursed her but she just displayed a bitter smile while pretending she didn't hear anything.
She just walks and walks until her feet leaded her to the garden where there's a fountain statue of a naked man with a wings of an angel carrying a jar. The statue was well carved, from small details to big, it was created and crafted by a skilled artisan judging by it's results, a masterpiece. She sighs and sits at the bench infront of the fountain, she removes the heels that she's wearing and leaned her back at the bench then stared at the vast azure sky.
"How I wish I will be free. Free from the chains that is being tied in my soul." she whispers in the wind. As the wind breeze brushes against her skin and waving her golden hair beautifully, she wishes silently in her mind hoping that the wind will carry her worries and problems far away in some distant place and then someone will accidentally hears it then they will come to her to save her from all the burdens she's been carrying. She raised her hand and pretending to reach the vast sky.
"You need to become a bird first before you can go up there and reach the sky." a voice coming out of nowhere wakes her up and bring her back to reality. She immediately put down her hands and sits properly. Then, she wandered her head only to find out that it was her boy best friend was the one who's talking. He's standing beside at the fountain infront of her.
"It's you, huh?" she said with a not interested face.
"How rude of you, Miss Elysia! Did you know that you're the talk of the palace right now because of the behavior you showed infront of the monarchy's and what's worst is during in the family dinner." he's guy best friend says.
"Like I care, Hecate." she boredly answered and decided to wear back again the heels that she takes off awhile ago but a big cold hand stops her from doing it so she raises her head only to find out that Hecate and she was so closed to each other so she immediately pulled back together with her hands.
"What the f**k are you doing? Touching a royalty like that, you're way to bold. Do you want your head to be separated from your body?" she exclaims and looked at the sorrounding to know if someone was watching them.
"Hey! Relax. It's not that I'm harassing you or what. I'm just trying to help you." Hecate immediately explains and looked at her while smiling widely. She just rolled her eyeballs.
"I have a hands for Pete's sake and it's not like I'm needing your help. I can manage myself." she said aggressively. But, she shuts her mouth when Hecate kneels infront of her and get her heels that's she's holding. Hecate put her heels back on her feet softly and gently while trying to avoid skin connection between the two of them.
"Crazy." Elysia muttered to herself but Hecate only displays his warm smile while looking up on her.
"Like father, Like daughter." Hecate stated out of the blue reason of why Elysia's eyebrows furrowed.
"What do you mean?" she asked with an indescribable face.
"You're attitude is exactly the same as the King. Always aggressive and way too bold. No wonder you two can't get along." he commented while shaking his head lightly. Elysia's clenched her fist after hearing Hecate's word.
"Don't compare me to father. Don't ever dare. I'm different from him." she said while her aura is giving off a dark atmosphere.
"Don't deny it. Also, did no one told you that every first born female child is always the carbon copy of their father." he said with a calm voice then stands up from kneeling on the ground. Elysia's eyes traced him as gave him a sharp look.
"Get out of my sight or else.." Elysia coldly warned him. He looked at her with a calm demeanor then flashed his warm smile.
"Or else what?" Hecate said while teasing her. She didn't barge to looked away from him, however she stares at him.
"I'm going to kick you out from my sight." She coldly said.
"Now! C'mon Miss Elysia. You're so untamable and aggressive. There's no way you'll kill your only one best friend." Hecate said and continues to played her while displaying his mocking smile towards her.
"I can always find a new best friend. Now, if you wanted to still live on this earth peacefully. LEAVE ME ALONE." Elysia said with an authority in her voice so Hecate immediately surrendered and raised his two hands in the air.
"Now, calm yourself. I'm only joking. I gotta go now. Bye Miss Beautiful Elysia!" Hecate said and flashed his warm smile that shows his beautiful white perfect teeth. Elysia only raised her right brows while looking at Hecate walking far away from her sight.
