CHAPTER FOUR
The woman’s lips were surprisingly soft and gentle against my own, yet there was clear pressure as well. It happened so suddenly that I was actually unable to move. I wasn’t even sure how to react. In the back of my brain, a voice was telling me that this was unacceptable, but another part of my body was telling me to just sit back and enjoy the kiss.
But eventually reason won out and I shoved the woman off me and said, “Hey, lady, what the hell was that all about?”
The woman staggered away from me, covering her mouth with both hands, a startled look on her own face. “Oh, I’m sorry. I don’t know what got into me. When I meet handsome men, I have a tendency to … lose myself, if you will. It’s embarrassing, I know, but please forgive me for my forwardness. I won’t do it again
