‘Jeeessuss, that’s some kinda buzz!’ Kellor exclaimed breathlessly.
‘Where’s the action at soldier?’ he continued, unable to put a name to one of the many virtually identical faces in the unit.
‘Over inside the entrance hole there,’ Eastwood said, pointing into the featureless darkness that enveloped them as if there were anything to see.
Kellor could not see any hole, let alone the fact that the soldier was pointing directly at it. There was no moon for him to see by and again he felt inferior to these new recruits.
‘Take me to your leader,’ Kellor said, joking edgily as more gunfire bellowed from the cave exit.
