I begin each day the same way. Two AM, wake up, run, shower, and breakfast. I had just put my dishes in the sink when I heard someone coming up my drive. Something has to be wrong, my mom must have done something again. "Ordinary!" I hear the Alpha shouting from his truck. I quickly ran outside to see what was happening. "Get in, we're going for a ride," he said with a tight smile. I tremble as I open the door. He has never visited my home before and I know his Beta in the passenger seat to be nothing but trouble.
We rode for nearly an hour before I got the courage to ask where they were taking me. "Do you not trust your Alpha?" was the only response I was given. "Of course I trust you! I was just hoping you could tell me what was going on..." I barely choked out before he was slamming on the brakes.
Both men are out of the truck in a matter of seconds. The next thing I know, Alpha is opening the door and dragging me out. "You smell of bacon and fear, that's every man's dream", Beta says with a chuckle, behind me. He then wraps a hand around my waist. Time seemed to come to a screeching halt. Whatever they're planning to do, I have no hope of escaping.
"Don't play with other men's toys", Alpha chides "Alpha Michaels will be here soon and you know he'll pay less if she isn't fully intact." The Beta shoots an annoyed look, but let's go of my hip. Alpha turns to me and lets me know that with only a brother to miss me, I was in fact the perfect person for a new job. "You see, we need a few things to help us rebuild after the last mess your mother made. While I had nothing available to trade the Blue Moon pack, he does occasionally accept another sort of trade." Alpha then begins to look me over completely.
His check leads to him checking out my ass, then his hand slightly lifts the hem of my dress. I, for the first time, felt myself begin to boil with rage. "What EXACTLY is this job?! You can't just trade me like I'm some sort of dry good! I've never done anything like what you're suggesting! Furthermore, I will NOT be giving my virginity up to someone as some sort of trade!" I screamed. I frantically attempt to escape the men but they're fast and strong. The Alpha catches a handful of my hair and slams my face into the side of his truck. Quickly, I am pinned between him and the truck, Beta takes the opportunity to grab chains from the truck and begins tying my hands together.
"Listen, sweet child" Alpha whispers in my ear. "As an unmated pack member with no father, you are in fact MINE to trade. I have no clue what Blue Moon is planning to do with you. Once you're in their possession, it's really not any of my concern, as this isn't a temporary trade. I wouldn't, however, run around screaming you're a virgin unless you're wanting that stolen." Through gritted teeth he adds "We are but animals", grinding himself against the back of my dress.
"Uhmm" an unknown man clears his throat from the other side of the truck. Alpha quickly jumps away from me, grabbing the chain and begins pulling me along.
"Alpha Micheals, my friend! This is the girl I spoke to you about. She's unmated, hardworking, and, as a recent discovery, is a virgin." Alpha says cheerfully. This man, Alpha Michaels, doesn't move or change facial expressions as he looks me over. After what seems like an eternity, Alpha Michaels takes my chain and nods.
Beta moves first, jumping into the passenger seat. Alpha quickly moves to his own seat hollering "See ya Ordinary!" over his shoulder. The entire thing seemed so surreal. How could he trade me off? How could he leave me here with this stranger and walk away like it was a normal encounter with a friend!
We stood there in silence for a moment, watching the men drive back to the only home I'd ever known. Only now do I have the courage to look this man, Alpha Michaels, in the face. He's gorgeous. Unmistakably and undeniably gorgeous. Even fully clothed, I can see how muscular he is. He's tall, tan, and unmated. In any other type of situation, he is the type of man most women would swoon over. But that's not where we are. We're here, in the woods, where he is now some kind of owner and my new Alpha.
Alpha Michaels looked at me for a moment before sighing. "Why did he call you Ordinary?" It took me several seconds to realize he was speaking to me. "Ordinary, is my name... Sir..." I stammered.
"Of course, it is." Alpha Micheals replies, rolling his eyes.
We walked through the woods for hours before coming to another dirt road with three huge SUVs. He says nothing as he shoves me into the back seat of the middle car. I quickly attempt to erect myself, assuming he will get in behind me. Instead, I come up as the door is slammed in my face.
I watch through the tinted windows as Alpha Michaels makes his way to the driver’s side of the first vehicle and in no time, we're mobile. Driving at an unreasonably fast pace to God knows where.
I try convincing myself to stay fully alert for the entire drive. I need to focus on the landscape in case there's a chance to escape. This becomes harder to do as darkness falls. So far, my questions, pleas, and rage all fall on deaf ears. Aside from our eyes occasionally meeting in the rear-view mirror, I am largely ignored. I'm a little amazed how these men stay so stern and so silent for hours. I begin to wonder if anyone is ever going to answer me but, before I can try asking again, it happens...
