I walk over to where he was and said it. “Lunar.” The clothes disappear. I walked over to the door and open it. “Shall we?” “We shall.” He grabbed my other hand and ran pulling me with him. The noise of our shoes echoing down the hall caused Hannah, Cam and Eli to come out of their rooms. I do not know what they seen, if it was just us running or if they noticed us holding hands. But as I entered his room I looked back and made eye contact with each of them. Rain also needed room in his closet so he asked me if I wanted some. We did talk about the option if a shared closet. Rain and I decided that having a shared closet was the best idea. He liked my clothes and I liked his clothes so we decided to share all of our clothes. That way we have no lack of clothes or energy. I notice his room is decked out with instruments and the walls had galaxies painted onto them. There was a glass dome ceiling so that we can look at the moon. I was pretty dark out so I checked my phone. 9:30 pm. “It’s getting late I should go back to my room and get ready for bed.” “Or you can stay here, we can have a sleepover. I want to show you something anyway.” “What is it?” “Something my dad taught me, the last Lunar Air Commander taught him how to use all the abilities of the Aces, he taught me how to use Lunar’s things.” I sat down on a bean bag chair with interest. “Show me.” He smile and picked up a guitar. He played it well. “The Lunar Commander developed a way to turn sound waves into real weapons, defence mechs and more. Attack me.” I pull out a small bomb that does a bit of damage but not enough to severely damage a person without other catalysts. “Are you sure?” He nods and I throw it. He starts playing a song and a hand made out of energy catches and destroys it before it could explode. “That was insane! How? How did that happen? That makes our weapons look like a child built them.” “How old are all of you?” “Cam and Eli are 15, I am 13 and Hannah is 12.” “So technically children did make them.” “Yet they were better than what adults in our world can make.” “Show off!” “Says the kid who can solidify sound waves with music.” “Touché Mars.” “Do you really want me to stay tonight?” “Stay, please stay. At least for tonight.” He got a sad puppy dog look on his face. “I’ll stay.” I decided. One of the servants knocked on the door. “Will you be visiting your father’s grave for his death anniversary tonight?” “It’s tonight?” I asked quietly and he replied with a nod. “I’ll go with you.” “Yes, I will be going for a picnic there as usual, but can your add an extra serving of food for the Hydra Aces? He will be attending tonight as well.” “I would be more than glad too. I’m so happy you have found someone you are willing to go with. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll go pack the food for you, Your Majesty.” “Very well, thank you Cassiopeia.” We heard her footsteps recede down the corridor before disappearing completely. “Is that why you want me to stay?” He nodded again, and I hugged him. “I will stay as long as you need me.” “Can you stay forever?” “You do know what that means right?” “I do. Marshal Collera Devyn Carmichelle, will you become my betrothed?” I dropped into a strange crouching position and put my hands over my mouth. I was in shock okay? My eyes even started tearing up. After I collected myself and stood up again, he pulled out a gorgeous sapphire engagement ring. “They bought it in hopes it would encourage me to get married. But you are the first person outside of the ones who bought it and I who are seeing it.” “Rain,” I grab his empty hand. “I would make me the happiest in the world. I am now your fiancé.” Tears streamed both of our cheeks as he placed the ring around my finger. “We will probably be wedded at the end of the week, for politics sake. But we will still plan a wedding fit for the future Kings of this warring country.” “I guess we will spend tonight planning decorations and venues. Tomorrow we’ll notify the country. And let decorators be made aware of our plans. Day after we’ll do the cake and I’ll get Eli to work with the head chef of the palace for the menu we’ll discuss whenever before then. We’ll get someone to come in and do all the paperwork the day after food. Day 5 people will start setting up decorations and stuff as we prepare our outfits. Is there anything else I’m missing?
