I was so relieved when Zeke did not put up too much of a fight about letting me go to work. I had a long day of clients scheduled and I was dead set on working. I could see the worry in his eyes but I had been doing this long before I met him and had been just fine.
I arrived at my office just before nine and hurried up to make sure everything was set before my clients started to arrive. As I waited for the first client I couldn’t help but feel a cold chill run down my spine. I felt as if someone was watching me and it wasn’t the tail the Zeke sent to follow me. I rolled my eyes at the thought, I knew he had given in too easy and there was a catch. But now there was part of me that was glad to have someone watching my back because I just felt uneasy. Like there was evil
