Karyl and I had been searching for what felt like an eternity, scouring every corner of the kingdom and the human world for the ancient book. It was our only hope for defeating my father, Lucifer, and saving both worlds from his evil clutches.
The book, said to hold the secrets of the ancient ones, was rumored to have the power to vanquish any darkness, no matter how powerful. And we knew that we needed all the help we could get if we were going to take down my father's formidable forces.
