Even after the prince, Khalil had stated his point, the message had penetrated into Crystal's mind. He was certain that it has because the lady kept staring at him with an open mouth.
There is no way that Crystal would forgive Crystal, not after saying what he just, that shows off his archaic nature. That means that he is capable of even beating her or violating her.
The moment she thought about that one, Crystal immediately felt a sudden rush to avoid this man standing in front of her, she didn't want to hear about issues that touch her heart. As she twirled around ready to go and arrange the clothes in the room, she was startled when prince Khalil's hands grabbed her wrist, stopping her.
The shock Chelsea had incurred when Khalil touched him knew no bounds. Khalil had not planned to actually hold her but had found herself grabbing Crustal's wrist.
Deep in him, he wanted to apologize, it meant a lot to him. Well, this is all Crystal's fault, he should never have provoked the prince, but now, Khalil knows that he had spoken rudely to the girl in front of him. No matter what someone does to you, the reply should never be violent, because two wrongs can never make a right, so, if she is wrong, then he should be right so that it will help him in solving this matter, and not aggravating it.
Swirling Crystal around, she lost her stability and crashed on prince Khalil's chest. She used her hand to place it on his chest, making sure that her full cheat doesn't collide with Khalil's own. It is never going to be a good idea if such a thing happens, so it is advisable to brush it aside as much as possible.
Crystal stared at Khalil, their face only a thin lie apart from one another, it is kind of awkward, but it wasn't weird more than the fact that she is faced with this young man in front of her.
They stayed like that for about a minute, and realizing how awkward that position is, Crystal dispatched from his chest but could not go any further because his hand was still locked in Khalil's own.
This is kind of frustrating, and although she brushed it aside, her mind was still on the fact that Khalil had her hand, and she wanted It back.
Clearing her throat, she said to him in a calm and undeserved tone,
"My hand, please," Crystal said sweetly.
This served as an alarm to Khalil's body, and staring at her now, he felt like he owed her an apology. For speaking to her in that manner, it wasn't worth it at all.
"I am... sorry," prince Khalil said.
Crystal's mouth was open, he wanted to say something, but the moment he opened her mouth to say it, she just zoomed out of the present.
"Apology accepted, can I have my hand back?" Crystal said.
The words weren't from her heart, she didn't even expect this to happen, but then, she wanted her freedom, that is actually what is prior to her right now.
Khalil raised a brow at her as if he didn't believe the words that came out from her mouth, but then, even if he did, Khalil didn't remove her hands from Crystal's wrist, she had it firmly on closed around his.
This made Crystal wonder if everything is alright, and as she raised her brow in frustration, she blurted out as if she is in pain.
"If you do not mind, 'Prince Khalil,' can you release your grip from my hand?" Crystal asked in a very sweet voice. She behaved like she is a saint, adding an extra color to her voice.
That had a positive effect on Khalil who was listening and watching her. The moment she gazed at Khalil blinking severally, that was enough to make him laugh.
He really did laugh, and the sound was just a cackle to Crystal's ears. Sighing, Crystal just stared at him, unable to say anything.
Instead of prince Khalil to answer her question, she switched in saying something else.
"Ehmm! I was wondering, Can we go downstairs for dinner?" prince Khalil inquired.
This made Crystal's face brighten up lively, but then, the events of the past quickly flashed in her mind, she didn't want such a thing to happen again, she didn't even want to think about it.
Remembering that she has work to do, she just refused it.
"Sorry, I can't, I have to finish arranging this room, you can run along now," Crystal said.
Since her words had broken Khalil's spirit she felt the impulse to slide her hands around it quickly. Freeing herself, Crustal used it as an opportunity to run, but she couldn't go anywhere, not when he had Khalil trailing behind her.
Suddenly, before Crystal could make a step forward, she noticed that she had crashed on Khalil's chest. She wriggled her nose in shock, she could not believe her eyes at all.
"Hey! let me go," Crystal blurted out.
Crystal had Khalil's chest like a rock, this is the worst thing that had happened to her, but she stepped back not wanting to face this man.
"Crystal, let's go downstairs and eat, please," Khalil pressed on staring at the lady in front of him.
The lady wanted to eat, her stomach rumbled, but then, she tried forcing herself to remain calm, she knew that is an impossible mission, but then, she has nothing to offer other than trying her best to catch up with things.
"I am not hungry," she said.
Khalil knew this is a lie, the worse he has actually got to hear, coupled with the fact that he didn't say it at all.
In a way of deceiving herself, Crystal's stomach started rumbling.
"Oh no! Why did my stomach have to rumble just now?" she asked herself.
Her silly question kind of caused a tingle in Khalil's mind as he laughed at her.
"Alright, no need to say all these things now, it doesn't mean anything, I didn't even hear your stomach grumbling, now, will you accompany me to have dinner downstairs?" Prince Khalil asked.
His question made Crystal stare at him with wide eyes. He didn't want to do these things, but then, he didn't have a choice then. He can't be eaten while his doll is not having anything for the night, especially not when he heard her stomach grumble.
When he didn't get a reply from the lady, he tried pushing forth his question, urging her for a reply.
"Come on, Crystal, let's just do this," he said with pleading eyes.
She didn't want to do it, so she asked for an excuse instead of going with him.
"Well, you know I am under punishment right, I have to arrange this room before bedtime," Crystal muttered.
Her words were pure trash to Khalil's ears, he could not believe his ears about the fact that Crystal is using his words to fight against him. This is uncalled for.
"Alright, I know that I have asked you to clean this room, but you can't do it with an empty stomach, no, please, just come and have a meal with me, then you will come and arrange this room with later," Khalil said.
Crystal didn't want that to happen, at least, not know. She just didn't want to accompany Khalil to the dining room.
"Please, just let me be, I already said that I am not going to be with you downstairs, so I will be happy if you just go and allow me," the lady said.
Khalil felt ashame of the fact that he had not been nice to Crystal, not at all, and yet, he wants her to come and eat with him. This is so abnormal that Khalil was trying to beg a lady like Crystal, he had never even wished of doing that to any lady in his life, yet here he is begging a lady.
His eyes were round, they were now light green as he admired her. She gave him that kind of puppy dog looks, silently begging her. It is obvious that Crystal had noticed the movements in front of her too, she did her best to the and deviate her eyes from looking at his own.
In frustration, Crystal decided to give in to Khalil. There is no doubt that he would do so.
"Fine, I will have dinner with you, but then you will have to smile for me. Also, stop staring at me with those eyes," Crystal said.
Widening his eyes, Khalil was caught aback by those words. They filled his heart so much, making him smile brightly.
"What about my eyes? tell me now, please," Khalil said accentuating the beauty of his eyes.
The reaction of the lady standing beside him was priceless, her eyes widened in shock as she could barely believe her eyes, not knowing what else to do.
In short, Crystal was amazed at how good prince Khalil's attitude can actually be, it made her eyes blink in shock, and as she stared at him, there is no doubt that he is happy too.
"Youpi! I succeeded in making you change your mind, I am happy you did," Khalil said in a jovial tone.
As he admired her, it was kind of a blessing to see her face brighten this much. There is no doubt that Khalil is happy with the situation at hand, he even made it known with the exclamation he revealed, which is enough to know that he is happy.
"If you do not mind, can we go now?" prince Khalil offered.
This caused him to nod her head in a fast movement, who knows, maybe he might change his mind before she has gotten the chance to put a good meal in her mouth.
"Well, I have to tell you this, the moment we finish eating, I will have to run back to this room, I have room to arrange," she said avoiding his eyes.
Crystal knew that if she faces Khalil's emerald eyes, she might change her mind before even meeting her point, she possibly didn't want this to happen, so she just brushed her mind away.
"Fine, let us go, then, I do not want my meal to get cold before I am eating it, I love hot meals," prince Khalil said.
That was the truth, and he wasn't ashamed of it. He had also heard what Crystal had said, and he is going to respect it. The way this room looks disorganized, he is even ashamed to stand in it. But then, Crystal is in the room, and he wouldn't mind as long as he is with her. This is the only thing that matters to him and it means a lot to him. Hissing, he grabbed Crystal's hands as he led the way to the dining room.
The reaction he got from Crystal is kind of challenging to him and his status as the prince as she said to him while trying to stop him from going.
"Wait, please prince Khalil, stop," she said.
Stopping in track, Khalil allowed Crystal to crash on his back since she didn't see him stop. She did not even know that he was going to stop, so it came as kind of a small surprise to her.
"Yes, Crystal, I have stopped. Is there any problem?" Khalil asked raising a brow to stare at her.
Crystal sighed before he actually wanted to say something, more like a question as she wanted to know the reply.
"Well, it is not really a problem, but do you mind removing your hands from mine? I don't want people of your kingdom seeing a prince of high status like you, holding a prisoner like me. That is so degrading, and I wouldn't want that to happen to you," she said.
This was just a piece of Crystal's mind which Khalil didn't receive well, and as he stared at her, he prepared a portion of her mind to give her.
